Rocking Episode!!! 👏 to actors...and the whole GHSP team!

I am sure everyone is singing your praises so I am going to tell you what you did wrong first 😡.....some of which ruined the episode. 😡 😡 😡....so let us get the brickbats out of the way shall we


What you messed up on

1) The editing was awful. Your editors need to get fired like yesterday. 😡 Maan should have had the flashback and then let go of Geet. Instead they added the flashback after he let go of her 😒 .....terrible work from someone who is supposed to be a professional.

2) The background music was loud, too dramatic and overpowering. It somehow seemed like I was sitting in a B-grade hindi movie or one from the 80s and 90s. I hated it to the core. 😡

3) How on earth did Maan know that she had met the man who ruined her life. Geet did not tell him 🤔.....was he just shooting in the dark.

4) AS .....he was being so good the last 2 days but he was terrible today in the confrontation sequence. He was OK in the sequence with KR in the room but in the GC-DD-AS-KR scene he was terrible. We need consistency from him.

5) Dev read Geet's note? What note? There was nothing in the note to say that Geet invited Maan to the terrace? 😡 PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS. 😡

Entire team of Geet except the editors and the background music people. Standing ovation. Great job

Noteworthy points

1) Amazing performance by GC 👏 👏 👏 ....rocked all the emotions. Hats too to you ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

GC portrayed the total confusion
beautifully essayed the frustration
when you know something is not right
everything is not happy and bright
he was tenacious in pursuit of the truth
badgering Geet to get to the problem's root
Reassuring her and being her strength
Apologizing for his absence
you could clearly sense his helplessness
his desperation and his restlessness
when he said he was back by her side
from him she had nothing to hide

He pushed her, coaxed her and then demanded
he became angry when she stalled and commanded
that she tell the truth if she trusted him
from her heart and soul deep within
She confided in him her deepest and gravest fear
After her truth was out his family ties would be at stake
The truth was so fearsome it would be hard for him to bear
His happiness she did not want to forsake

He pointed out that of his happiness she was the source
After that the truth she told because she had no recourse
Not before he promised to always be by her side
and punish the man who took an innocent girl like her for a ride
He put the pieces of the puzzle together before she gave him a name
He would never have believed his brother would stoop to this
and played with an innocent such a dastardly game

Gurmeet displayed the shock, the denial, the agony and the pain
It cannot be him he repeated again and again
Dev confirmed that everything Geet said was true indeed
and fessed up that both him and NT were responsible for the deed
That his brother not hurt himself over this Dev did plead
In response to that his brother in anger punched him and made him bleed.

GC rocked every scene from start to finish
In no scene did his performance once diminish
His performance was superlative because
in addition to having perfect body language
his face spoke volumes and he emoted using his eyes
A standing ovation for this performance he does deserve 👏 👏 👏
Anyone who wants to be an actor - you should all observe
Each emotion was flawless and watching him was a treat
Thank you for this and it was absolutely great. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️




2) DD was just awesome ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ....outstanding performance from her 👏 👏 👏

She dressed up and set the ambiance
she did not want to let go of this last chance
to spend with Maan some happy times
once the truth came out there would only be tears
So she tamped down on her fears
And created a magical wonderland.

Her shyness and hesitation were telling
But to touch him was a lure she could not resist
But he was not feeling a wee bit romantic
He wanted answers and with his questions he did persist
She was stunned for she did not see that coming
She had no idea what to tell him.

When he said in him she did not believe
else she would share her woes
She did not know how to tell him
that his loved ones were her foes
The hug reassured her that he would stand by her
Come hell or high water he would not waver

She told him what she feared the most
it was what her truth would really cost
His bonds with his family would be blighted
She did not his happiness to be slighted
When he told her his happiness in her was vested
She knew in this relationship he was completely invested

He told her that he would punish the man did her betray
She realized he wanted the truth
and from that nothing would him sway
She wanted to tell him but did not know how to start
She began telling him the tale with a heavy heart
He asked her why she did not come to him
once she saw the man she had been seeking
Maan had a flashback to the engagement
and remembered her insisting on a meeting

But her tale never reached its due conclusion
Because he put the pieces together immediately
the culprit was none but this brother Dev ultimately
Geet had to deal with a shattered Maan asking
How can my brother do this to you in disbelief
She stood there silently crying and waiting
for the truth to sink in and for him to deal with his grief

She did a fabulous job portraying the shock
when she was confronted by the quack
her concern for Maan's well being
multiplied with the reaction she was seeing
She could feel his pain and anguish so clearly
because she loved him so dearly

She was still shocked when he hit his brother
and told him that he would endeavor
to get justice for Geet and her baby
The question is will he succeed?Who knows? Maybe?
Daadima is a wildcard who has not yet been played
To her this story has not yet been relayed
If she intercedes justice will be delayed
It remains to be seen how this will be played

DD's performance today was totally restrained
But her expressions and dialogue delivery
were completely superb and sustained
Hats off to you girl for impeccable performance


3) Barry Dhillon the dialogues rocked 👏 👏 👏

4) Karishma did very well. Good job 👏 👏 👏

Gurmeetiye... What do I say? You were just too good today. The way you coaxed the truth out of mundi was just so adorable. I died when you tell her that she does not trust you and does not understand the depth of their relationship☺️....

1. Yeh kya, Maan? Today mundi was in full mood for some fun and you were so not!!! Accha nahi laga yaar... Geet was going, 'Aao na, aao na..' And you were like, 'Sach batao na, batao na.' Maan sir, har cheez ka waqt hota hai. Please samjhiye na!!!

Guru and Drashti were fab as usual. Karishma was good too. AS was so so, better than before but still a long way to go.

Maan finally connected the dots and knew Geet's strange behaviour was related to the engagement night. He also acknowledged that he should have been with her when she needed him the most but also expressed his helplessness because he was laid up within the four walls of the hospital. That scene was really heart breaking for Geet, who understood just how much she really was loved by her man.


The hug showed how much they were hurting - one because he knew there was something bothering his love but not knowing what it is and and the other because she knew the truth but was apprehensive of the repercussions it will have on his life.


Geet read him well. She knew he will support her because he will always stand by the truth but she also knew that the truth will tear him apart from his family. Knowing the pain of being estranged from her family, Geet so did not want the same for Maan. She was the reason for his getting back his happiness. She did not want to be the reason why he would lose it.

Maan made it clear that in her lay his happiness but even he would not have bargained for the truth.

Glad that the FB scene where Geet drags Maan and tells him of seeing his bro flashed before Maan's eyes even before Geet uttered Dev's name.

His initial disbelief was to be expected. It is not that he disbelieved Geet's words, but he was in a state of denial and harboured a tiny hope that it was not his family which was responsible for ruining Geet's life.

Looks like Dev has been spying on Geet while she was getting the terrace ready for Maan for he knew exactly where to find him.

Maan putting out the flame from the candle with his palm was reminiscent of the night when Geet agrees to be his fake fiance. At the time he was furious with Geet for not admitting her love for him. Today he was furious at what the poor girl had to go through because of his vile brother.

The slap/punch was expected and well deserved. I guess that one action would have gladdened millions of Maaneet fans. Pity Geet will stop him mid way but that was expected too. Geet, being a victim of physical abuse herself would not want to be a mute spectator when her beloved indulges in brute violence.

Will have to wait and see what sort of punishment is meted out to Dev.

Geet may tell Maan about what she blurted out at the office and he may agree that the environment there may not be conducive for her, thereby paving the way for her to work for Yash. Knowing Maan he would make sure he is close to her even then.


There were a couple of things I was not happy about:

1.Bad dubbing/editing - especially in the crucial scenes of truth revelation.

2. NT's sudden volte face and her meekness in following behind Dev seemed out of character from her behaviour of the past days.

My analysis in pointers after watching the episode twice😃

Nissar, CVs, - today, I'm so content with the episode that aapne meri bolti hi bandh kar di….dont have much to say. Long Live Mr Darcy !

I was so happy, overjoyed, over the moon with the way Maan slapped Dev, a slap that was heard around the world !

Loved –

• Geet's dream sequence. In that the 'ankhen teri kitni haseen' I thought was equally applicable to both Maaneet. Oh how, Geet wishes for the caress !

• the emotions surging through Geet as she tries to make the most of the last few moments with Maan b4 the truth comes out.

• the way she caresses Maan's his face…on the same side he had the injury welcoming him home.

• the focused Maan today, bent on ferreting out the truth. Trying to read her eyes. U r giving me conflicting signs….coming closer but moving away such that u r leaving KC. … and u didn't event tell me…why?. Uff, loved the intensity of this entire scene.

• the way he doesn't allow her to play hide-n seek with her eyes….also appreciated the quick way he does interpret her eyes every chance he gets…continuing connecting dots.

• the remorse in Maan for not being there for Geet when she needed him.

• the pain in Geet for being the cause for destroying the happiness and familial relationships in Maan's life.

• the way Maan connects the dots himself and comes up with 'Dev' – we'd all wanted Maan to deduce the truth himself as a testament to his intelligence

• the disbelief, shock on Maan's face as Geet confirms that Dev was indeed the man who ruined her

• the range of emotions running through Maan when Dev says that he destroyed Geet's life not know she was going to be Maan's future, Maan's happiness.

• the slap ! Oh, how Maan decked Dev ! Yesss!!! Me Want More !!!!!

Dev/NT-

Liked
• Dev smartening up to NT and showing the backbone required to face the truth (after reading Geet's letter to Maan)
• Dev taking a page of NT's game book and using it on her.
• Dev/NT reading each other's mind on 'bewakoof'…interesting !
• A sinner owning up to his sins on Indian Telly !

What will Maan do next ?

- Hope he punches Dev around a little more !
- Maan will stand by Geet, he will chose Geet over his family.
- Geet will support Maan manage his anger and disappointment in family
- Maan will get justice for Geet
- Maaneet will possibly move out of the Khurana Mansion …ideally Dev/NT should walk out.
- Maaneet must begin a new life. They need some time alone to lick their wounds, heal each other and bring up baby !

Hello everyone,

I am more than excited to write down my feelings about today's episode. I mean, who wouldn't? It's the day we've been waiting for a very long time. So lets start with our little(??) situation here.

The first part, to me, is kind of a warm up session with the song that is the continuation of the previous episode and maan's questions as well as assurance that expressed his mental state. If it were a movie then there would have been only 2/3 strong dialogues before the truth is out but since it's a daily soap they have the reasons and privilege to linger the conversations and so to me that was neither absolutely necessary nor unnecessary. Its just like a decoration of the hallway to enter any party; we decorate it but its not where the party is taking place. If you leave it undecorated, it doesn't matter much but if you decorate it looks good. So I would call the first part, neat.

Then comes Dev-NT and I must say that I totally enjoyed NT's self talk, thoughts and dialogues as well as dev-nt conversations. I hope in future if they somehow manage to skip going behind bars, they keep torturing each other like this by trying to trap each other all the time. It would be very much entertaining for us.

Now comes the most entertaining, perfect and exciting part of today which is geet's revelation of truth and maan's reaction. I found the whole thing very much perfect. I can't begin to express how brilliant it was and cant begin to imagine how much brainstorming and group work it took to come up with such a perfect idea, direction and execution. G-team, you are really on the ball.

It was an excellent idea to show that maan joining the dots while geet spoke. After all, it would have been really sad if maan's couldn't join them with all the hints lying everywhere around him. And then the reaction, where all the credits goes to GC, I would also very much like to appreciate the writer for the excellent dialogue and whoever responsible for the next step, that is, maan wanting to leave the place.

Friends, let me give you a very cruel example. Imagine your mother coming over to you right now and informing you that your father left you and your mom for another woman. Your initial reaction would be, "no, it cant be, my dad wont do this, its not true". Now that doesn't make your mom a liar. So maan did the same without imposing geet to be a liar. Then what would you do observing the pain, tears and silence in your mom's face? Would you feel like discussing things with your mom about your dad? You would just want to leave the place go back to your room and then don't know what! Well maan wanted to do the same. Well then what would you do if suddenly your father appears and say that its all true and how much he tried to forget that woman but cant and stuffs. Wouldn't you want to hit him with the nearest hard object? So maan did the same cause his fists is harder than any other object in the room! So anybody who think maan didn't believe geet is not what it actually is. Sometimes in life some truths are such that you cant bear it and so your whole existence would want to believe that its not true. It has got nothing to do with the person who carried the truth to you. It's the information that's killing maan which he wishes so much to be not true to make life happier again. Brilliant work by G-team! Sometimes when I'm alone and wonder what am I doing here analyzing a show, the team comes up with their unavoidable exquisiteness and overwhelms me all over again. I don't know if I should be happy for myself or not but I sure am drowning in the show.

Some suggestions that I would like to share are,

• Let not get dadi involved in the matter right away. Dadi is the head of the family and apparently a very wise person. So far her thoughts and actions reflected her position in the family as well as her wisdom. After knowing the truth dadi may either fall ill or support the truth but she should not get influenced by the false. Its because maan and dadi means everything to each other and dadi brought up maan with all the right values of life. Dadi was maan's teacher from whom maan learned to be such an extraordinary human being. So now dadi going all confused and persuaded would be very pathetic. It would only deteriorate her image. Hiding a truth for good is no big deal for the team as we have seen that dev-geet never met being in the same house for a long time. So for good and for peace, dadi may be spared from the truth for some time.

• About dev, I understand the team is showing dev to be repenting but again I hope to believe that its all his act to save himself. All devils wants to save himself and only the real shrewd ones would be daring enough to walk in front of the police to deduct himself from the suspect list. We cannot kill a person who is already dead; we cannot hit a person who's already injured. So this could be the real game dev is playing of pretending to be sorry and asking geet and maan to focus on their relationship so that they are emotionally refrained from taking any legal action against dev. Definitely he would want to support maan-geet relationship because that would make him safe forever. Once geet becomes a family, she would only think of the peace of the family. Besides before NT left for Canada she threatened dev to put all the blame on him once the truth is out. So framing NT would be part of his revenge to NT. Then again, dev was never very fond of maan and when he tricked maan into letting him join the office he was all into taking the company away. Why would he then all of a sudden become so fond of maan as to confess him crimes to him? I hope the G-team would consider bringing the evil out of dev again where his gain would be

-preventing himself from going to jail

-getting NT out of his life (he clearly expressed his wishes when NT returned)

-unlimited flirting with meera and any female that breathes and

-lifetime security from geet's punishment once she is a family.

It has become a huge take and I wonder who will read it. Those who have, thank you for bearing with me.
