I agree w/ JASx re: Shyamrao. After all, Shyamrao loved Sandhya dearly despite her becoming blind due to an accident, and the fact that she was a liability on everyone, so how can he blame the Jagirdars for keeping Yuvraj? His outrage @ being deceived was justified, but not his question to Puru on why they had someone like Yuvraj @ home.
I do think the Jagirdars made some mistakes along the way - from forging the birth certificate to trying to have Yuvraj assimilate. It would have been one thing had Yuvraj been growing up in San Francisco, but Gwalior is not San Francisco. So they would have done well to raise Yuvraj in private, have him educated via correspondence course (like Sudha, Sandhya's avatar in Jyoti did) and then have him be good @ a few things, say programming, or that sort of stuff, and live w/ modest goals.
Instead, they spoilt him to the core, and gave him everything w/o teaching him values, choosing to blame it on the gods. I agree that RS is showing things the way they are, and that such people usually don't become saints. I'm not suggesting that Yuvraj should have been one, but his parents could definitely have drawn the line on a lot of things. I don't condone Yuvraj's friends harassing him, but that doesn't justify his murdering anybody & everybody who discovered his secret, as he narrated to Neeraj. Similarly, everyone in the family should have taken Suni chachi's position, and told Yuvraj that he could have anything, but marriage & kids weren't among them. In fact, he could either have married someone after due disclosure, or he could have entered an open marriage. As for kids, like Sandhya suggested, they could have adopted - there are any number of kids in India alone who would be blessed to be raised in the Jagirdar mansion alone, even if the father's sexuality is suspect. Incidentally, that doesn't even need to be mentioned, and once Yuvraj is grown up, it typically wouldn't come up in polite company.
Also, while this was Yuvraj, and it's good that all 3 brothers were dedicated to his happiness, they should also have looked @ the bigger picture in terms of the family and explored what was good for the family as a whole. Sarla had legitimate concerns about no attention being paid to her kids, which Pankaj not only ignored, but treated her roughly for bringing it up. Similarly, since a waris is so important, why didn't Puru & Prabha ask DK & Sunita to try have sons, assuming that sons were what was wanted (or else, Jyoti & Priya were just as legitimate heirs to the family, no?) Incidentally, say Neeraj & Sandhya had agreed to this plan and Sandhya had a daughter, what would Yuvraj have done then - keep having kids until Neerdhya begat a son, as many lower class people do? I think that had the Jagirdars kept this picture in mind, they'd have made better decisions then they have done by making Yuvraj the face of the family.
I do think that such people should be kept in the family, but the family should have a policy of protecting that person's privacy, and in case things like marriage come up, have a full disclosure policy w/ a condition that the party to which such facts are being disclosed treat it as confidential in case the deal doesn't go through.

but i agree tht yuvraaj is true evil in the sense whateva he does....i mean its so childish u can not kill the whole society for knowing ur truth...its far better to leave a peaceful life...make lots of money...then the society will give u respect no matter u marry or not...but still the internal war rage and its difficult to face it. Waise I don't think sandhya has to do much to take revenge if she just pick up a mic and tell what his husband actually is....jagidars will be automatically doomed.😆😆😆
