hey all......

I made this thread in appreciation of Rushad performing as Akshay in the present track.......

I admit that I took time accepting him as replacement of Saahil as Akshay.....we will always miss Saahil and he has a special place in our hearts...but if you look at the recent episodes, even Rushad has worked very hard and CVs have left no stone unturned to make us accept him.

I am particularly referring to the Friday's episodes.....i just watched the re-run again and cracked up laughing........OMG even he gives a range of expressions.......he has a mobile face and is very comfortable in front of camera....... i loved the expressions he gave when he is afraid as he did not read the letters; fakes it and says yes i do.....and finally realises his mistake and calls Shaan for advice......he is too funny !!!........made me laugh...

he was also good when in thursday episode he is standing outside shanak room to check whether Khanak is fine..............I guess I am really liking him and more in comic sequences..........CVs plz don't turn him negative......( seeing the present track, it doesn't look like though)

PS----All this in honour of Akshay aka Rushad........without baby-baby fixation !!!😆😆.......previously i used to get irritated and wanted to bang myself hearing his baby-ing for khushboo but after a HUGE discussion on this forum at amrita's post ' baby one more time'...............now i simply crack up and start laughing the moment he utters BABY !!!!

donno whether this babe- baby thing will ever liked..........but for sure, except that part, You are Good Akshay........!!

please share your views on this if you feel the same, and even if you wish to differ.........

am i allowed to differ on an Appreciation Thread?😆 you're right manita his expressions were top class the other day! but somehow i felt the previous saahil was less of a joru ka ghulam 🤔 or maybe it just wasn't needed in the script at that time to show him as one! 🤔

Nevertheless, this guy is working hard we can see that! i loved his expressions when sunil said :Khushboo ko bulaaon?" outside khanak and shaan's bedroom! his immediate reaction was hilarious! 🤣 maybe he'll grow on me someday and i'll starrt loving him like i loved saahil (ps: i had a crush on saahil )🤣

I like his scenes with Khanak and Sunil and even Shan but unfortunately the chemistry with his better half is still bad and the babying thing is not helping.I really hate Akie -Khush scenes... Why??? Coz they make no sense.Infact they are so sensless that even the best marriage councellor will be of no help.I like this akshay,acting wise he is better but i really used to like the previous Akkies scenes with Khushboo.They made a cute couple in comparison to these 2,just not feeling it unfortunately.

RBO fan I too have finally accepted Rushad and like his comic expressions! one thing I do like abt his pairing with Khusbu is that they seem age wise appropriate, whereas Sahil looked a little bit younger, in my humble opinion! But I loved Sahil, in is role!

I do hope Rushad will be able really slip into Sahil's role totally, and make us all feel even better abt the change!!!

nice topic mani....actually at first me too was not able to accept rushad as akki coz sahil had made his impression on ma mind so well that it was difficult for me....but now i enjoy all rushad scenes except that with khushabu😆........

i mean this guy has done this role in his own way and thats wat is good to see....coz many times the raplacement actors simply try to copy the styles of earlier ones and thatnkfully rushad has not....so he totally rocks in all akki-sunil scenes , akki-khanak scenes and akki-shan scenes..........👍🏼

@ Sehju and Hk fan- even i feel he looks more aged as compared to saahil.......

actually my theory is----even i had a crush on previous Akshay....so it was a pain to see him with Khushboo, and the more we remember him, the more we get stuck in time and not able to move..........i still do love Saahil but .......

...............if we look at the present track, however unrequired it is, it's not in the hand of the actors and Rushad is doing well justice to the dialogues, situations and his comfort level with the camera due to his experience is good enough.......i just wanted to stress that he made me actually laugh and his scenes were pretty funny............

Me liking Rushad too...will always love SAHIL..but I do think that Rushad suits Boo better...and loved his acting these last few days....not bad at all...

Yup I agree that he looks older and Sahil was way cuter, but he is a good actor and doing a good job with his role. Its always hard to step into someone else's shoes...

Loved Sahil and he will be missed....But Rashad is doing a good job....He has fitted into the role, since he first joined and loved his all his scenes last week...Even those with Khushboo😆.....Nice topic Manita😊....

I like Rushad. He is a better actor and like Manita said, has a very expressive face. Am really looking forward to more Akshay-Shaan scenes. About Khushboo-Akshay scenes, Rushad suits her well because of his height. they just need to give good lines to Khanak. She now comes across as a love-sick teen, and not as a fashion-conscious, proud, upper-class woman with attitude, which is what she was before... she need not be mean but she can still be posh!
