My heart goes out to Dutta. *sigh*
There's this hint of vulnerability about him. I've always found him too good to be a hard-hearted don. Uska gussa ho ya pyaar dono me ek sacchai hai. Child-man. 😊
He says ki he likes Naku coz woh duniyadaar nahi hai, but he's seen so much of the world and yet doesn't realize that his enemies are closer home. Well, inside his home. When they started focusing on Dutta's track, I was wondering who the serial belonged to, Naku or Dutta? Not that I'm complaining. I'm happy with Naku being Dutta's love, and his dil ki dhadkan. I admit, I found it real funny at first, the fact that ppl are scared of telling him the truth because uska dil toot jaega. W*H man, the guy's a don! Give him some credit.
But yes, now I am convinced. He might fool everyone with his badass attitude, but deep inside there's this child, who never got a chance. He had to give up his childhood and innocence to become the man of the house, and later to forget Seema's betrayal.
I'd always heard that men are emotional weaklings. It is true. Dutta can protect Naku, be her savior...no doubt about it...but Naku's gonna be the one who saves him and protects him from drowning himself in that well of despair.
And I kind of like the way this love story's shaping up. Slow and sweet. They're not falling in love by looking at each other, they're doing it by being there for each other. Completing each other. In every sense. Isn't this the kind of love that really lasts?
There's this quote from Captain Corelli's Mandolin that kind of explains it:
Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being in love which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.

Absolutely loved it, brilliant 👏 👏

I would like to add one more ::

"Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end."

Hi liz,
Very well said.... I truly agree with the lines highlighted in bold...
Yes... am sure we are truly going to enjoy the coming episodes if the CV's also consider going on the same track......

"Maine unse kabhi baat nahi kii lekin unke baare mein baat karne ke liye mere paas shabdon ki kami nahi,
Woh mere saath na hokar bhi mere saaye ki tarah mere saath chalte hai
Baahar,Ghar mein, kamre mein yahaan tak ke mere dil mein bhi main unhe mere saath paati hoon.
Raat ko sonese pehle woh aakhri insaan hote hain jinse meri baat hoti hai
Woh mujhe thapki dekar sulate hai
Aur wohi subah suraj ki lali,os ki nami aur hawaaon ki thandi se mujhe jagate hain
Mere rom rom mein baste hain woh mere seene mein unka thikana hai"
these were words spoken by a character for her sweetheart whom she had known only through newspaper reports about him.Just like I know Dutta through a TV serial. But they describe exactly the state of my mind is now. When he moved from being a TV character to a secret part of my life I'll never know. But I'm glad to have known him.I know he is not real that is the tragedy of my life but still I consider myself very lucky to just have known him.Don't know where this will lead,I dread the day when this illusion will break into a million pieces but still I hold on to it like dear life.
I LOVE YOU,DUTTA ..... KASAM SE...........😭😭😭
