my concerned was more from krishna's lens.I always thought Krishna thinks and feels her as his strength not only he get positive energy from her but he is alive when she is there. For him she is the only woman that has ever come close to making him feel free at heart all while whishing she would be the one to guide his heart as her own but she has not so far.

I don't think krishna sees her as his strength. I think he sees her as a soulmate as some one he can trust and love but I don't thing the empowerment thing has yet crossed his mind. yes she makes him happy. she fills him with romance. he knows she is intelligent and someone he can share his thoughts without the possibility of being ridiculed. but I don't think that he sees her as a strength i.e. as in particularly supportive of him. in fact to date I cannot think of any stance he has taken that he has sought her support on.

A very insightful post on the relation dynamics bet husband and wife!
You articulated my thoughts very eloquently.

Being a man, Krishnas fragile male pride and ego are wounded
by Prats bitter comment but Prats is unaware of the pain she
has inflicted upon him. In fact, so pre-occupied is she in her fight for getting
justice for Kesar that she appears to be totally oblivious to the insecurities
Krishna has been facing lately.

On the other hand, Krishna has always been there to support her.

For him, being a man, in this instance, sex is a way of expressing
love and also making up with his wife.
Pratigya, being a woman is not able to let go of her hurt that easily.
At this point, an apology from Prats would have probably assuaged
Krishnas hurt feelings re her freeloading comment. Maybe that realisation
will come to her later on.

I do agree with you that Prats is in a position to empower Krishna but at this
point she does not do much for him beyond loving him. She is pre-occupied in
fighting for justice for Kesar. In the process, she is alienating Krishna
from his own family. While she expects Krishna to support her in the causes
she believes in, we have not really seen her supporting Krishna
or empathising with him for the situation he is in.

IMO, giving priority to causes/crusades over a spousal relationship is a sure recipe for disaster.

I hope that we see subsequent episodes where she becomes a tool for the empowering
of Krishna, where there is more of mutual give and take on both sides.
I am enjoying the relationship dynamics bet husband and wife too.
Some powerful stuff here!

@bold - I totally agree
@red - I would not bet my bottom dollar on it. there are lots of people that I have met like pratigya who are not into genuine effusive apologies. that is because they honestly do not see themselves as having done or said anything untoward.

I noticed this is your first post😃

The freeloader comment

I have been meaning to post for a while now some thoughts. When I first heard it, I was like OUCH, OOPS, OH NO and then the whole comment hit me as ironically funny

Krishna is unemployed. Pratigya is unemployed.

So in essence both are freeloaders in TN.

Krishna is a freeloader on SS's dime. Actually he is legally entitled to it as an advance on his future inheritance.

Pratigya is a freeloader on SS's dime too. though she is not legally entitled to it. Legally she is only entitled to Krishna's fortune (if and when SS wills it to him)

So seriously speaking, the only person who is entitled to make a comment about Krishna's freeloader status (as an insult) is the person paying Krishna's bills. His Dad. Not Pratigya

As a wife, Pratigya should be having a serious and positive discussion on it rather than using it as her very own javelin

don't you think?

You may be right, P is not really into introspection where K is concerned, so righteously
focused is she in fighting for her pet causes. Only when things
reach a stage where everything blows out of proportion, as when he drinks
the water to protect her from being humiliated, does she feel guilty.

And yes I am new to the forum. Been watching the serial regularly for the last two months :-)
And I love it!

Well being a freeloader does not necessarily mean that all those who are unemployed are freeloaders.

P IS contributing to the TN household by proactively performing household chores, taking charge of the kitchen etc. So in essence, she is not a freeloder. While K is not really contributing is any meaningful way towards the household, neither does he earning a living.
Not that this gives P the high moral ground to insult him. Totally agree that P should have a positive discussion with K on this issue rather than use it to score points.
