Three family weddings....One bent on bigamy and breaking the law, the second trying to make ends meet and a third ltrying to get the family to behave like a family, before welcoming a new bride, not to mention a new baby into the family fold.

Kesar is making KN's bed the next morning, still playing the obedient and dutiful wife. Goodness only knows why after he banished her to sleep on the floor. She comes upon the photo of a girl under his pillow. KN could hide it from her last night but leaves it on the bed for her to find the next morning? Prats persuades Kesar to show her the photo she was looking at. Just then the proverbial big bad wolf KN shows up and wants to know what Prats wants shown to her. Prats you could just tell him to disappear and mind his business.
Many marriages would be better if the husband and the wife clearly understood that they are on the same side-- Zig Ziglar
KN challenges her "Are you the owner of this house, you want to know everything. Let us live in peace." Oh yeah? How about you be a shining example and show her how to let people live in peace.đ "She is my wife and whatever her worries I will attend to it, so why are you interfering". Good to know you remember she is your wife, now explain why you are on to road to bigamy? Of course she is your wife when it suits you to get someone off your back, rest of the time you just abuse her. Prats chooses the perfect mode to annoy a Takur, she goes into baashan mode'. like a machchar that doesn't give up biting'.."If a woman has her husband to think about her such-dukh there is no need for her to get anyone else's support." What wasted energy lecturing to this dude who seems to have no conscience in him. Having said her piece Prats leaves their room.
The willingness to accept responsibility for one's own life is the source from which self-respect springs. ~Joan Didion
KN grabs the photo out of Kesar's hand. She asks him who the girl in the picture is." Honest to God, it's hard to understand this woman anymore? She never speaks up to the ones who can help her but dares to ask KN questions even after all that he has done to her? He threatens her to forget seeing the photo for her own good since he was asking her nicely. He grabs her and that doesn't stop her from asking him again the identity of the girl in the picture. She leaves the room and he drools at the picture in his hand. He must feel like he is nature's great gift to this girl by the looks of it. Dream on!đ

SS comes to the terrace and sees Baba sleeping on a cot. He gives him a little kick, a rather unusual wake up call. Whatever happened to tapping him on the shoulder or a gentle shake.đ˛ Baba goes back to sleep. SS begins his early morning taunts and Krishna pleads with him to stop the baashan. He probably hasn't processed the one Prats gave him last night completely just as yet.đ SS rails into him about Prats "Your lady is playing tricks. Is she your wife or are you hers? Krishna as usual defends himself "Why are you bothering me, I felt like sleeping outdoors so I came, do I need your permission to come and sleep here?" SS flings a few insults Prats's way "Let her tell you where to sleep, shower, etc. The creation has lost itself to today's women. He complains that his mood has been ruined for the morning and heads downstairs. Takurji that's the problem with sticking your nose into the personal life of a young couple. Why is SS nitpicking about Krishna and Prats's marriage now?đ

Krishna sits up and speaks to Prats "So, you've come. You have 151 ways to humiliate me. Couldn't you have come a few minutes earlier? He wouldn't have stripped me of my respect like this." Prats is not happy this morning either "I didn't ask you to come upstairs and sleep here, you did that on your own". But he seems to have mellowed more than her. Prats is still miffed about last night. Seems someone wasn't happy being left alone for the last night. Same terrace, same couple, different day and different mood! She sets his cup of chai down and leaves without another word. No sign of a truce just yet.
The joys of parents are secret, and so are their griefs and fears: they cannot utter the one, nor will they utter the other"~ Francis Bacon, Sr.
At Mathur Headquarters, Mummy Mathur gets the go ahead form Papa Mathur to do the Godh Bharai for Nandhini.. She wants to invite Komal who is preggies too. Umm, no she is not! Just another Takur spun tall tale with a Sax playing along. Just a reversal of roles than the one played not too long ago that had unpleasant results for Krishna and Prats. Nandhini is pleased but Gaurav is adamant that there will be no godh bharai for his child and he is the only person who has any rights to his child. Excuse me, Mr. GM, does that exclude your wife too? He tells his mother "Please, do not pin her wishes on my child or me for the last time". MM tries to explain that the rasam is to seek God's blessings and pleads with him to not relive the past in the present moment. Good advice, Mummy Mathur. Gaurav said "I don't need God's blessing for my child or me. Gaurav leaves. MM pleads with Aman to talk to his brother, "for how long will this enemity go on between father and son. How long will he be angry and when will he realize his dad is not his enemy". Aman glances back at his father who is standing a distance away in stoic silence and replies "What do I make him understand? What ever happened to Gaurav he had to live through it, that too bec' of someone's stubbornness". His mother asks him "How can you say all this after you know what happened." Aman explains "All I want to say is if he didn't understand you how will he listen to me. It's no use". Aman leaves the room. PM heaves a huge sigh, obviously disturbed. What is with this family? They rarely talk to each other directly about what is bothering them. There is barely any laughter in the house. Some mucho egos under one roof, none willing to give a inch. Mummy Mathur is stuck in the middle trying to make peace among warring factions in the family.
Grief has limits, whereas apprehension has none. For we grieve only for what we know has happened, but we fear all that possibly may happen. ~Pliny the Younger
Kesar as usual is waiting for Prats to pick up on her pareshaan signals. When Prats asks her Kesar says "I've come to terms with the recent past as just a series of bad events. Whatever my worries I was his wife all these years. I don't know what is about to happen. I found the photo under his pillow, I don't know who she is. When I asked him he didn't think I needed to know. I know something is the matter when there is photo with my husband." Is she talking about the people he may have killed? Somewhere deep down inside her Kesar already knows her husband is ready to move on without her being an integral part of his life since he banished her to the floor last night.
At Mumfordgunj, Shamu tells Nainaji he has done his calculations and is short on funds to cover the expenses for Arushi's engagement. Adarsh's medical bills had dipped into his funds. Adarsh tells his Papa he will get a personal loan from the bank to cover the expenses for the wedding. Komal overhears and offers to ask her bauji who is loaded for some money but Shamu gently tells her they will find an alternate solution and like a little child Komal nods her head in agreement.

Pundit comes to TN to match kundalis for KN and a mystery girl. SS greets him and so does Takurain. What is with the saccharin sweet tone of Takurain's when it comes to greeting priests? The only other time she used that tone with Kesar was when she was buttering her up to stick a knife in her back or to Komal. She sounds like a 5 year old. Get off this farcial tone Takurain, stay true to your colors, will ya.? SS gets Takurain to get rid of the two bahus working at the dining table. She banishes them to the terrace for the spices drying there. That's a whole lot of spices for just the eight of them.
Pundit tells RED he has never seen two horoscopes such a perfect match. These two are made for each other, the girl is lucky and good for this family. Ok, but are the people of this house good for her? Isn't that more important bec' she is coming into an animal kingdom. As soon as she enters this house all the dark shadows on this house will disappear, there will be brighter days here at the TN full of happiness. Punditji, the best-matched horoscopes don't necessarily mean a match made in heaven. SS promises pundit gifts galore after the wedding, happy to have heard what he needed to hear. Just then Prats and Kesar return downstairs and overhear talk of a wedding. Prats's suspicious mind goes into detective mode. A smug smiling SS and Takurain are jolted from their joyous moment by Prats "who's wedding are you talking about?" It's so much fun to see RED knocked sideways every time they think they have had their way only to be shown otherwise. SS gets defensive "zip your lips mind your business and get lost, got it? Prats patiently asks "I'll leave bauji, but who's wedding are you talking about? There is no one else in this house of marriageable age, so I'm curious to know who's horoscopes are being matched.". KN speaks up " Mine. I'm going to get married. I am going to be a groom, do you have a problem with that?" The two bahus look shocked.
Preview: Krishna warns the family "What ever happens here will go by the law and Krishna Takur will do it here in front of you. Try doing something wrong. Forget Prats, I'll call the police remember that". Go for it Baba! Lock them up and throw away the keys. They don't have an ounce of compassion in them. Someone's got to trip them up and remind them so they realize that there are certain moral codes by which a family lives. Krishna Kisna Krishna da da dadada''''.. If only Komal hadn't stuck her nose in it and you had seen things differently way back then, RED would be locked up now. You would not have had to drink that foot bath water either. Achcha chalo, no point in talking about "what ifs" now! Take charge and don't spare them this time.
