well, anu and taani are two different people, with slightly different upbringings, and different personalities, so obviously their tolerance level, and how they handle a heartbreak has gotta be different too! i see what you're saying, that even tho taani's heart break was bigger, she took it far better than anu is taking it right now....but i guess we're forgetting that while taani loved anu for 8 years, anu also loved nupur for 4-5 years (those are the figures i remember being mentioned in the show....LOL) i guess taani knows that she has other responsibilities on her shoulders, and she also has to obey her mom's wishes, and that's why she can't mourn over her and anu's breakup forever! but in anu's case, he doesn't really have any responsibilities that he needs to worry about! i mean his father is rich, he is also super rich, so money is not an issue! plus, ever since he moved to america he's been a little moody and detached from his family so he doesn't even have to worry about their feelings.....so basically anu is kinda in the "whatever" phase, trying to accept reality, but not really bothering about it because he feels that his life is now simply screwed, for good!
altho, what's bothering me is that even though anu has full rights to fuss over his situation and express his pain, i feel that he should also be a bit more considerate of taani's situation! she's sacrificing sooo much for him! sure he did the same for her in childhood, but taani's returning all those sacrifices on a much larger scale! anu seriously needs to be a man, take control of the situation, and either try to find nupur and convince her to come back, or try to mend his relationship with taani! perhaps he should spend some time in helping taani laugh and forget her miseries (cuz that's exactly what taani's been trying to do to anu) anu simply needs to realize that him and taani are going thru the same thing, so might as well go thru it together and make the best of their friendship!
(okay now i feel like i just kept on typing, without realizing that im not really making much sense! LOL! oh well, hopefully someone understands what i'm trying to say!)
