It started going downhill after Panna's exit and now its difficult to watch. Silly themes like songs from blockbusters and shaadi didn't help separate the good singers from the mediocre ones. We've hardly seen any tough rounds and probably won't in the future. II2 had many talented singers but Sony didn't give them to shine and show their full potential.

very true.... II2 doesn't allow any rounds that really showcase talent... i mean sandeep got away with singing some 15 str8 udit songs..... if this were Sa re ga ma, he and many others would've been out in the prelimanry rounds..... and i also agree with you that the rounds don't seem tough at all.... the singers have an unlimited bank of songs to choose from..... sony should pick a round where the judges give a song on the spot... then we will know who really is the best (most us already know)
