awesome VJ .. after tuesday i was left with no more doubts ... these guys know how to pull thro episodes ..
yesterdays episode just showed how each drop adds on to become an ocean.. our Maaneet, were present in spirit, but what they stand for and what impact they exude, was brought out beautifully by all the chracters...
scene 1: NT and Dadi- NT's insecurity... cos she knew, had this engagement happened, she would be doomed, not just cos of dev's back story, but it would also ruin the chances of family property .. and we all know madam loves the latter more than her dear own hubby...
scene 2: Maan: though it was shot way back, it implied how true they have stayed to his character, that six months down the line, it looked as fresh as it was first shown ... and his thoughts made me wanna give him a hug .. while he whole world thought it was her abandoning him that made him go back to his old ways, we showed he perhaps would never go back there with Geet in his life.. he is worried he couldnt read her eyes ...this MSK is a changed man.
scene 3: NT-Dev-Myra: others would never pay attention to this crack otherwise but they actually stepped in to save the day .. i am really glad Myra was introduced into the story ... coming events always cast their shadows.. and had Myra not been around it would have become near to impossible, to bear NT and Dev's scenes .. she adds a calming effect to the entire scenario...
you cant help but feel bad for her, when suddenly she feels like an outsider, but Dev makes her feel at home, and for the first time thumbs up to him.. even when NT tries to emotionally blackmail him he doesnt give in, instead, he goes silent only after Myra agrees with NT ...
scene 4: Manchanda-Adi and Pinky: adorable friends, who you could rely on at 3 in the morning, it was kinda weird Manchanda didnt attend the engagement though, well yeah, these are all crisis mamangement addtions.. i get it .. wel done uncle ji ...
Scene 5: Geet: sitting in the park all by herself, thinking of where her life would take her, totally undetered by what happened.. she knows she would have to talk to Maan.. what is their relationship made of man? how do the two of them have so much faith and so much trust in one another?
scene 6: NT makes Myra feel like a bag of crap, but Dev gives it back to her, making her realise she is the one who is not wanted here around-smart move creatives, they have made her role this time a temporary one, the way she has turned all evil and devious, there would be more than one reason to throw her out once Maan returns, and things would all fall on her head.
Scene 7: Geet and Myra: one angel meets another, thats why perhaps they say a friend in need is a friend indeed, last time if it was Myra giving Geet pep talk, this time it was Geet, cos obviously she is stronger now ... Myra needs a friend( after NT threw her out and Geet needs shelter)... both of them are going to be there for one another ... they will help each other solve their problems and their issues ....
Scene 8: Manchanda house: uncle reveals the truth, and instead of doubting their friend, the first thing they say is, they wanna know who the jerk who did this was... i was sooo touched .. loved both of them... i see a cute new story blossoming there.. that Pinky likes Adi is for all to see, but Adi will reciprocate too... they will have their own cute choti se love story...
Scene 9: Geet and Myra joking about their states .. shayari n all...
all in all.. yes they pulled it thro convincingly .. honestly .. if i say .. i didnt like the episode i would be lying.. it was as gripping and as engrossing as any other episode of Geet!!! cos it carried the spirit of Maaneet like i have already said before....
