So, here I am. To clear some very misguided notions about MY FAVOURITE. Yeah. Why not? When Shilpa can be talked about implicitly by non-fans and haters then at least me, HER FAN(LOL) can make a topic on her. LOOL.
Let me tell the first and foremost thing:
Shilpa Anand does NOT talk negatively about her co-stars. She doesn't have time to talk about others, and she believes in a forgive and forget policy.
And nah man, her fans don't like to make 'assumptions', ESPECIALLY not when the accused ones are admitting off-screen about all the drama that happened to a set of fans.
ALSO, if fans hear news from somewhere and they talk about it openly or in their closed rooms, then it IS the fans who are responsible. Not the actor's. That's common sense (:
Point #2:
She is as fine as a human can be in this ruthless industry where if you are honest, straight forward and not a 'yes sir, no sir' chamcha of the fellow co-stars or PH and you don't bow down to the bullies then you will be thrown out. That's Shilpa's problem that she likes to be honest. Just like a Kareena Kapoor or Sonam Kapoor of Bollywood industry. They speak their mind and don't hesitate thinking they might get a 'bad name' and criticism if they spoke the truth.
Probably, all the more reason why she may not get a show later than someone else would. Good people don't get shows as easily as someone else may for the same reason (and *cough* some other highly unethical reasons *cough*) but hello, she at least still has her, ethics and morals, dignity and grace intact. That matters the most (:
Money and fame is all fine and dandy, but there is a God above, and sooner or later we will ALL atone for our sins (:
Point #3:
She doesn't sit around and complain about others, nor does she tell her fans to fight for a certain couple. That is called unprofessionalism especially if it goes against your current set of fans and your show's current storyline.
She gives two damn hoots about others and she doesn't sit around and moan about her professional or personal life with her fans. At the end of the day she is a professional actress and hence she does what she is told onscreen, and doesn't rile up fans or do some plotting of her own to make her more prominent. She's not insecure, and she just goes in to do her job. That's it.
Point #4:
If she likes to speak up about what she has been subjected to then it does not make her any less professional. Heck, Rajeev Khandelwal spoke openly about his issues and he is still loved. In fact much more. Because, he believes in speaking up for himself. Just because you are an actor, it doesn't mean you act offscreen. No need to act like a hypocrite offscreen.
Just because she shared her views about the storyline of which she has been a part of, and even if those views were negative then it does not make her any less professional either. Hello freedom of speech anyone? Gosh people want her to speak up, and then when she does it's blasphemy.
There has been a whole list of actors who walked out of shows, spoke about how the storyline was not correct or dragging and how they did would leave it than be a part of it. But they are still loved. So why should Shilpa Anand not do the same? :S She can put forward her view if she doesn't like a storyline rather than sugarcoat all the time. She says it like she sees it. And fans LOVE her for that.
Heck, in Bollywood while others would like to sugarcoat their words, the likes of Aamir Khan or Salman Khan prefer being honest. And the audience enjoys that more. And they STILL have great number. of fans for being honest and forthright. Tinggggggg! :D
They are STILL referred to as great actors and professionals. LOLS.
Point #5:
Others choose to clear their names too. In different ways maybe? Like holding a press conference and blabbering on and on and on so much that audience couldn't stop ROFLing. And Ms. Anand doesn't hold conferences to clear her name. She just talks about rumours she heard and that too by the press when she is ASKED. She doesn't even declare anything as the 'truth' but just as what she heard. LOL.
You see Shilpa does't believe in lying unlike some others....
And hey it's good to be an actor onscreen, but offscreen it's best to take off the make-up and costume, and STOP pretending!! (:
