Well, as we all know DMG is ending soon, lets party giving a tribute to Karan Wahi for playing the character Sid with such brilliance
Though I am partying am happy and sad at the same time. I am happy that dmg is ending..........bcoz it was a show that we were addicted to watch inspite of knowing it makes no sense just bcoz it had Karan Wahi in it but sad bcoz we won't be able to see Karan Wahi daily on our television sets till he picks up another show....................Interim periods are always hard................but we will get thru this, just like when Nanhi Pari ended and KW joined DMG, we followed him here, similarly, once KW's role in DMG ends and he picks up another show, we will follow him there
But I would like to give Lord Wahi a tribute with a Royal mango shake toast:

When Karan Wahi entered DMG, it was a mess as the main leads of the show were made to disappear without any explanation. Inspite of not being accepted by many, din't let his onscreen performance as Sid be affected. Those who have watched Sid from Sept 22, 2009 know how many variations Karan Wahi has shown in that single character. I wouldn't deny the fact that yes, there were times in his initial days as Sid where he did overacting known as " indulging" in theatrical terms few times especially with the fake laughs but later on has only shown improvement in his acting skills and taken it to new heights. There were times when the track was not supportive of his character Sid and made Sid stoop low like wooing his wife with the help of the magazine track but the very next moment, Karan Wahi with his brilliant acting skills has lifted his character Sid up. We have seen Sid from a spoiled brat from Houston, who gets a little serious after being friends with Tamanna and is shown falling in love with Tamanna, but to justify Tamanna's exit, is shown that it was not love, just an infatuation and his "zidd"..........After that justification, Ridz enters his life, the creatives not sure of Armaan returning or not returning, played the track like ping-pong..........................Riddhima will go near Sid, but then hate him, Sid and Riddhima fought all the time, don't know what was running in the creatives head and don't know why they din't have the patience to wait and find out if Armaan was really returning, that they decided to pair up Sid with Riddhima. To lock-in Riddhima as belonging to Sid, they came up with hypothermia, so that people think Riddhima is no longer worthy of Armaan, then they finally get Sid and Riddhima married bcoz of Riddhima and her father's reputation in the society being ruined after whatever happened in Panchgani..............Riddhima choses to kill herself instead of marrying Sid, but Sid saves her and refuses to marry her, but Riddhima begs him to marry her to atleast for the sake of his father's reputation. Sid does marry her, but their married life is a saga of domestic violence....................bcoz Sid is aware that Riddhima loves Armaan but they are married only for her father's sake. Sid even takes Riddhima to honeymoon only for the sake of her father's happiness. But during honeymoon, Riddhima starts feeling for Sid..............but the very next second, when the news of Armaan coming back in the show is out, the track changes and Riddhima steps back but Sid has already fallen for Riddhima...............then enters Sid's houston mama who mistreats Riddhima which makes her leave the house...............Then comes a turmoil in both Sid and Riddhima's heart, bcoz Armaan returns back to Sanjeevani...............................Sid sends Riddhima to Puna to get his answer whether she wants to live with him or Armaan, and confused Riddhima gets more confused and is not able to understand her feelings. Sid even tries to divorce her, but Shanky becomes the mediator asking them to give their marriage atleast 7 months time and even asks Armaan to help him get Sid and Riddhima closer...................We also see some dostana track in the process of Armaan helping Sid and Riddhima get closer and finally in June, Sid saves Riddhima from dying during the heavy rain and after that confesses his love to Riddhima and asks her to come back and live with her. Riddhima agrees and Sid and Riddhima start living together in the Modi Pent House but alas,,,,,,,,,,,,that wasn't the happy ending of Sid-Riddhima story, they have always shown Riddhima moving back and forth between her past and present...............and Sid just adjusting to her moods..............Initially, Sid just felt the pain and kept it to himself but later on also started reminding that he is her husband and would be nice if she paid attention to him also. Riddhima started romancing with her husband too and gave him the assurance that she is all his too by putting on the lingerie that Sid gifted her.............Riddhima also remarries Sid with her own will and initiates the re-marriage that is when Shanky tears off the divorce papers.
She even goes to her second honeymoon and this time willingly with her own will, but alas on the last day of honeymoon, suddenly the track changes which has not been justified and will not be.
There are days when Sid is made to look like a fool unaware of what his wife is doing behind his back and inspite of knowing what she did, he is still wooing her. And there are days when Sid stands up for his marriage and even fights with the person his wife got intimate with.
I wanna say hats off to Wahi mainly because the character of Sid has adjusted to so many sudden track changes that had no justification and some of them were not even accepted.The big ones were:
1. Sid shown completely in love with Tamanna and then out of the blue one day, to justify Tamanna's exit, they claim it that it wasn't love, it was just his "zidd' and he will find his true love one day for sure
2. Riddhima returns back to the show, but Armaan doesn't, so Sid is made to marry Riddhima, and to justify that yes Sid should marry Riddhima, they make him do stuff like click her obscene pics, give her his body-heat, etc.................
3. Riddhima is shown romancing with Sid in Armaan's absence, but as soon as Armaan returns, Riddhima backs off from her feelings towards Sid and the atmosphere of her first honeymoon changes and so does her life, and it becomes a saga of domestic violence
4. Riddhima re=marries Sid with her own will for the second time, and then betrays his trust by indulging in extra-marital affair as she wasn't able to forget the past................
5. Waiting for the biggest one, waiting for Riddhima to let Sid know that she never loved him.............which is not justified bcoz if she really din't love him, should have told him way before and shouldn't have married him again, but seems like thats what is gonna happen
And ya till this date:
1. Sid hasn't read the letter Riddhima wrote him back in Februaryšš
2. Sid still hasn't clarified which I call his googly line, he said back in May when he was leaning with cane that he has some"majboori" bcoz of which he is behaving rudely with Riddhima
Was it Karan Wahi's fault that Armaan din't return to the show at the same as Riddhima and Sid was made to marry Riddhima to keep the show running? No absolutely not, some people accepted the marriage of Sid and Riddhima and some din't.............Karan Wahi faced a lot of hatred both as Sid onscreen and offscreen too for playing Sid and not leaving the show when Armaan returned back in Riddhima's life.......................What could he have done, Sid was married to Riddhima and Karan Wahi was married to his contract...........both stuck in a show called DMG........Wahians loved and supported Karan Wahi and SR fans both, SRians loved and supported their favorite couple Sid-Riddhima......called Siddhima............and whenever the creatives played dicey games to keep hopes high for all sets of fans using their "Hukam ka Ikka" Riddhima, SRians fought for their couple to make sure Riddhima stays with Sid...
This journey was really interesting as it had many interesting things..........I thought I would watch this show to drool on Wahi and that would be all........but I was wrong, as it had many other factors to it.........and the reason why dmg is one of the craziest show on television is bcoz of its offscreen happenings. It was really interesting whenever SRians would feel Riddhima is going a little away from Sid in a different direction, they would start with their fights, whether be it calling CVs, petitions or actual fights on this forum. And when I trace back the reason for fighting on this forum then I only see these reasons
1. Wanna make sure that SR posts are on the front page and not AR posts as CVs make visits here and they should know that people like SR more than AR
2. People who became part of SR AT, got really close with each other after chatting with each other daily for months now, so if any of their friends post was bashed they would go to fight for them
3. I don't wanna lose. I love this couple and this couple should be one together at the end, bcoz I love them and can't see them separated nor can I see my hard work of fighting for this couple go in vain.................
4. How come someone say that about my favorite couple or actor
And these reasons had outcomes too and still does in the form of fights in this forum and some even extended this fights of defending their favorite couple and actor on facebook, youtube, orkut and twitter....................
And not to forget the pms and rumors of people saying I heard this is what is gonna happen next and someone told me that is gonna happen................some were true, some dint' turn out to be true......and the sources from which the true news came out, remained in demand...............
Just wanna say this, I watched this show for Karan Wahi and his brilliant acting skills and definitely salute him for having the guts to play the character of Sid that wasn't easily accepted and hated a lot only bcoz Sid married Riddhima.................after the show had seen Riddhima for 2 years with Armaan................Of all the new interns, its only Karan Wahi who remained in limelight and made it so far......................
Love the character of Sid and will be honest, it was not always justified especially towards the end........................but it was Karan Wahi's brilliant acting skills that made us fall in love with Sid...........and I wouldn't have loved Sid as much if it wasn't played by Karan Wahi
And a lot of us Wahians preferred Sid with Riddhima instead of Tamanna because of the fact that Jennifer is a more competent actress and we felt that Moulshree was not of the same level of competence and caliber as Karan Wahi so its not fair to him.........
As a whole it was crazy but quite interesting journey, never experienced something like this before..............and in a way I am glad that dmg is ending mainly bcoz of the offscreen issues and I don't blame anyone, everyone has the right to love their favorite couple and favorite actor and everyone wants to win and no one wants their hardwork of fighting for their favorite go in vain..........and the end result is competition, who can fight harder, who can reply better, etc etc...............and some got personal too..................
But guys, its wrapping up so lets party............and enjoy the fact that Karan Wahi did such a brilliant job inspite of all this issues, and that we are gonna be soon released from this madness.,.................
And the party begins with the chant " Lord Wahi ki Jai Ho"
