A few suggestions:😭
1. since geet is not in her senses, she may get kidnapped by brij
2. maan is searching for geet frantically ( this will justify guru's absence)
3. since both maan and geet are not to be found, dadi gets restless and falls ill
4. due to dadi's health, the engagement is postponed ( cant show engagement in guru's absence)
5. NT returns
6. NT-meera clash involving that moron dev
7. sasha at her scheming best
8. adi-pinki trying to organize things

this will take up 3 to 4 episodes and counting the weekend may be guru will be able to resume shoot.

finally,
when again brij tries to kill geet, the good old MSK will save her in his inimitable style.
guru back with a BANG


this track will also be reasonable as maan wouldnot ask geet the reason for her disappearance ( he'll think she was kidnapped)
this will give geet time to solve her dilemma

the engagement ceremony resumes.
