I guess these are the few scenes which are inserted freshly so that they can stretch the engagement for whole week and guru gets sometime to recover & come back.
Tomorrow she will comeback & after all the dialogues& then they will show the whole episode that she is getting ready.
then Thursday they will show she coming to engagement everyones conversation.
Friday the engagement will start and then monday our buddy will be back
