Shahid Kapoor Questions Credibility of Critics
Bhai there are duties and responsibilities with the first relating to the spirit and the second to the physical. Duty towards spiritual unfolding or discovery remains our purpose while hand in hand we have to fulfill our responsibilites like work, family, country etc. This is the general guide line, but there could be some variations and slight changes depending on our situation, station etcOriginally posted by: silent-thoughts
A thought stuck my mind when I was lying dead on the couch after a weary day. Why do we have commitments in life ? Are we bound to fulfill them despite our feeble spirit ? What is the ultimate purpose of life ? To me its not just travail. What is that which matters at the end of the day ? Is it to savor the fruit for which we ought to drudge ? Is this life ? Earn, Live, Eat and Die ?
What are we born to do ????
I feel at the end of the day, everyone wants to find and connect with themselves spiritually and want to find the true essence of life. People try to do this by yoga, worshipping gods, living a semi-sedentary lifestyle, but the true is that none of us can feel that essence unless we recline from the materialistic society and try living without the technology so convneiently provided to us, somewhat like what the stone, bronze age people did. Only then can we understand how to connect with nature and how to gain or attain the ultimate knowledge. Unfortuantely, not many of us are brave enough to do so, mainly because technology has corrupted us in a way, even though the benefits outnumber the negatives , we have forgotten how to truly live of with minimal resources, and yet be happy solely on aesthetics, where the ultimate reality brings a genuine smile to our faces.Originally posted by: silent-thoughts

Sometimes it seems, to convert oxygen to carbon dioxide. Most humans seem to be really proficient at this.
Honestly, I'm not sure where I am going. But I tell myself, it don't matter where I 'm going - its the climb. I'm searching for answers. I hope by the end I will find them. I think for now its nice to be simply human - perfectly flawed specimens of creation.

@ Souro – if we go by the procreation definition as reason for existence, then would humans unable to procreate have no reason for existence. Or can we redefine existence to be "contributing to the sustenance & survival of our species" whether by procreation or other means.
