@ Souro ' if we go by the procreation definition as reason for existence, then would humans unable to procreate have no reason for existence. Or can we redefine existence to be "contributing to the sustenance & survival of our species" whether by procreation or other means.

If the individual human fail to procrete, his line of indiviual genetic cease to exist. Simliarly all human fail, the species will cease to exist!! We have to think that we exist through our progenies!!

I believe that every human comes here with a purpose. The purpose could be any. Could be a minute thing, or even something bigger. We all are here to do that work..

Do we know for sure we would never evolve to become parthenogenetic if the evolutionary need arises? Certain reptiles change gender automatically when kept in a same gender environment. Some species reproduce sexually and asexually. Maybe nature will find its course.

I read some where that Y chromosome that man carries and which helps in procreation is slowly losing most of it's genes and which is now now 80 against the original 1000 same as that of the X chromosome when it started. Inevitably a day will come when it will not be possible to procreate anymore and male species will dissapear. May be than either our species will end or it will evolve into a different species or most likely it will propagate in the way as you have mentioned here!!

Procreation is living more and more in the physical but overcoming the gross we should enter the subtle, thoughts of the subtle draws us towards the light.
Perhaps we see the Truth through a reflection
