Saw this episode again just to see Vivek. For such a long time I have wanted this boy to shine and at the first given opportunity he did so well. Way to go boy. this performance was the only satisfying thing about yesterday's episode.

Now I want my Tasha to get her moment as well.

HALF TIME

We have reached the midpoint of the series now, looking back at what we have seen so far.

Series started with a BANG, great promo followed up by a great First Episode (thanks to Santosh Shetty, it's high time CID's reigns were given in the hands of this man). At the end of this Sonali and Taarika are kidnapped. After this Abhijit Sir and Taasha try to find them and in turn fall into the kidnapper's trap. They manage to escape thanks to Abhijit Sir's presence of mind. However they are unable to find any trace of the kidnapper, but they find clues that the next possible person on the list is Salunkhe however its Kajal who is attacked and kidnapped. CID gets an intelligence report that someone has planned to kill ACP and finish the whole CID team. ACP refuses to take any protection and asks his officers to be careful. Freddie and Vivek both go to interrogate witnesses of the ongoing case when Freddie is taken away while Vivek manages to escape. He sees the kidnappers (1 lady + 4 men) and car in which Freddie was kidnapped. The car is finally located which has a burnt dead body with Freddie's ID card on him and CID team is saddened to have lost Freddie.

This series had so much potential but FW just does not know how to tap it. When to cash on emotion, when to cash on trill, they have forgotten all of it. After all the hard work and money spent on Promo and Aakhri Chunauti - Part I they let the hard work go down the drain with their own hands. Ok I accept that even if CID members are under threat the team has to keep working but remember something called - TEAM DISTRIBUTION and PRIORITIZATION, what is the use of having this huge team if you can't distribute work among them?

At the end of PART I, CID team had - TRIO, Freddie, Vivek, Tasha, AB and PP apart from Salunkhe, ie 8 Officers and 1 Forensic Doctor. So ideally for the khooni case as useless as PART II had, DUO + Vivek + Tasha should have been working on the MAIN case while ACP + Freddie + AB + PP should have taken charge of the khooni case while ACP takes regular updates on the progress of the MAIN case, instead we saw 6 people working on the stupid khooni case and only Abhijit + Tasha working on the main case. Then after this none of the CID members have been shown working on the MAIN case at all, one casual dialog here and there but no one seems to be concerned as kidnappings continue. Where is the team bonding we used to love?? Where is the love and care for fellow colleagues?? I have not even seen the regular aggression or anger on anyone's face much where there is person challenging them openly.

Basically, even if CID team was to work on regular khooni cases, they should have always shown some team members working on the MAIN case too. This was shown only in PART II. They should have involved the Don/Kidnapper into the ongoing cases like they did in PART IV. The team members have to be better utilized; currently the Officers Magic Show is going on which I JUST HATE. People are walking in and out at random during investigation, what the hell was going on yesterday? Team distribution anyone???

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM - Ever since the new people joined in and the bi-weekly started the team bonding, affection between team mates was losing its touch but I had never ever imagined that it would reach such a low as it has especially yesterday. How unconcerned the team was about Freddie's kidnapping was not funny, it was a nightmarish feeling for me. Half the team not even aware he is missing. Abhi Sir not even informed when he calls ACP. I wanted his reaction too. Even in the final scene I saw Daya Sir and ACP, the only two who really expressed sorrow, Abhi Sir did not even seem to react to Freddie's supposed dead body. FW what is wrong with you?? Why do you want to spoil everything we loved about the show, why?? WHY?? I am very sure they have coolly forgotten about Freddie's wife too (but remembered PP's brother), no one will inform her about what happen to him. How awesome is that.

The first half of the series is over, second half starts next week, if FW can blow us away in the remaining episode, this trashy experience will be forgotten to some extent. FW can you do it??
