The beat of my heart. One Shot on ARMAAN-RIDDHIMA
He is ARMAAN MALIK, the Casanova...and I fell for him? Comon! He is my best friend. I knew him well enough. Did I really love him? I felt like shit right now. I was more worthy than a use and throw material. Wasn't I?
But today whatever happened has literally opened my eyes. My best friend Nikita Malhotra informed me about Armaan flirting with a hot chick in the college. He got a better person, so i was left.
My heart had shattered into pieces. I had somewhere found a friend, a guide in him. Was all that fake?
Yes it was. He was found making out! It just can't be a rumour unless seen.
I dint want to even see his face, yet had too. I silently walked in the college corridor, holding my pile of library books. Someone dashed me accidentally and all my books lay shattered on the floor, resembled the torn pieces of my heart.
I sighed and closed my eyes. I sat down to pick them up when I found someone else doing the job for me.
"Hey!" He smiled.
"Look! DONT YOU EVER TRY TO TALK TO ME AGAIN. every thing between you and me is done? Got it? Move now!"
He seemed shocked. He acted well. He tried to follow me, shouting "Riddhima...wait....what happened?" all the way.
I found myself in tears, so i preferred running to the girls room. I ran inside and locked the door. I rested myself on the door and closed my eyes. Letting all my emotions, love and ache just flow out of my heart. I hated crying infront of ANYONE.
Suddenly, i felt the loud bang on the door followed by the shout.
"RIDDHIMA! OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!" Armaan barged the door angrily.
I couldn't even move my body. I stood still for while, while Armaan banged the door again and again. On giving up, Armaan kicks the door angrily one last time and left.
I silently opened the door, and peeped. No one was there, i walked out of the restroom.
It was evening so the classes were empty. No one was there in the college. I dint dare to look up, my eyes rested on the floor.
The only plans in my mind were..,leaving the damn college itself!
"OUCH!" I felt a strong pull. I opened my eyes to find myself in a dark room.
He stood at the door of the physics lab. I was shocked enough to not a react.
He dint look up, and silently locked the door shut behind him. My body trembled in fear. My heart raced, breathe speeded. Was I his next target? Where is my cell...i need to call nikita....
I tried to move.. Immediately, i found myself locked in his arms. He forcefully knocked me to the wall, his strength dint allow me to move an inch.
"You believe I made out?" He silently asked. His voice reflected large amount of pain in it. He dint raise his gaze.
I remained silent.
"You believe I cheated on you?"
"Just answer dammit!" He kicked the wall angrily. Finally he looked up. Oh my god! His eyes were swollen and red. I shuddered. Slowly, tears rolled down my cheeks. Yet, i stood there silent and motionless letting out silent cries.
Suddenly, he cupped my face. I dint want to look at his face, yet he pulled my face towards him. Every second passing, made him pull closer and closer to me. He stopped at a point, i fell his breathe on my lips. He now spoke in whispers, and his whispers left me breathless
"Look into my eyes, dont you see the love?" He looked me. Why was i seeing immense love in his eyes for me? His low whispers, his touch, his looks...everything was just filled with love. Every angry yet tender moments he made was filled with undying passion. No, I wont get carried away for the second time I thought. I need to get practical, he is a flirt, he is using me!
Within the next second, my answer was forwarded.
"No! I see nothing" I looked down and spat out,
Immediately, I felt a painful tug on my wrist, I could feel his hands locking my wrists to the wall.
He knew i could run any moment. But currently there was no space or air in between us. I found myself getting mesmerized under his breathe.
"I love you." He finally confessed. I opened my eyes to see him looking at me. Should i believe him? My heart and brain both raced in opposite directions. Urghh! I couldn't make up my mind. God help me!
"No you dont!" I followed my brains.
Immediately, he placed his lips on mine and locked them. He kissed me with all the passion. I felt butterflies in my tummy. It was as if My body had received 1000 volts shocked. I was left astounded and shocked. But there was something in him, that pulled me towards him. Ultimately, there was something i realised.
We separated, he looked down apologetically., realizing his mistake.
He distanced himself from me, making a way for me to go, whispering a "sorry.."
I smiled.
Immediately, i got hold of his collar and pulled him towards me. He was shocked. He brilliantly dazzling blue eyes locked at me interrogatively.
My uneven breathe told him everything. He leaned in closer, and i enjoyed it. His constant gaze on me made me nervous. He removed the strand of hair on my face and smiled.
Without wasting a second, I kissed him. My hands involuntarily played with his silky, spiked up hair.
I felt his hands around my neck. Caressing my collar bones. I kept my eyes shut tight. Slowly, i curled my hands around his necks. We separated and he grinned, I couldn't help myself from blushing. I looked down.
Suddenly, i felt his arms around my waist. Bewildered I looked up, and his lips were locked to mind. I closed my eyes cherishing, his scent, taste.
And the two hearts finally had merged into one.
