I think Dev is being selfish as usual....of course he loves his brother...at least of late. Remember, in Canada he seemed angry at Maan for having everything while he had to struggle.....typical loser.

He doen't want this engagement primarily because it will make his life difficult when the truth is revealed.

See what he stands to lose:

1. A roof over his head
2. Comforts of life and definitely money
3. An office to go to where he can pretend to work on and off
4. Low on the list, love and respect of his family.

At some level, he cares about Maan and his happiness but he cares for himself more.
As for Geet, he cares a hoot for her and her happiness.

So, if and when he finds out about the baby, he'll care even less because the baby would be the biggest proof of his perfidy.
