Today I felt sorry looking at the plight of two ladies affected by the same person...MANAV

Savita who was dreaming of posh life, is struggling for rupee by rupee to run her family and is affected by Manav being in Jail. He is her son and the only person working in that family. Much of her life, Manav has provided food and money for the family. Now her food supply is cut off. On top of that, she has to arrange money for lawyer and court proceedings to save her son. Only last straw in her life is 'Shravani'. She will cling to her.

Other lady is Archu. Everyone is bashing her as if she had committed a mistake by visiting Manav in jail (Let me also say this, it looks cheap and wrong for outsiders...how disgusting a lady visiting her ex in JAIL even after her engagement????). She wants to help Manav but no one is allowing her. She is shackled. No one is understanding her plight...

First, it all started with people wanting Archana to accept for the marriage...when she accepted they all started telling since you have ACCEPTED it you MUST follow it...can you all please give her sometime? I don't know, if Archu meeting Manav in Jail is right or wrong once she is committed to Jay. It's not that she intends or she is going to have an AFFAIR with Manav. Today Archu rightly pointed out to her mother, if no one is understanding her plight, at least she has to understand it. Otherwise, what's the difference between parents and the outsiders.

Well, the point of contention is that Jay feels irked so Archana has to stop acting on behalf of Manav. K family wants her to be a spectator just like them and shed some tears and wash their hands from Manav. I think Archu has understood that and she will try to be like that much against her own will and desire to help Manav. Well, she is not going to struggle for her food and shelter like Savita at least.

I totally agree with you.

It is not wrong for Archu to visit Manav in jail, especially if she believes he didn't do anything wrong. It isn't uncommon for people to get a divorce and still remain friends. My friend's parents simply fell out of love and divorced, but they are still great friends. No one looks down upon them, their family and friends are happy for them, that they have remained really good friends.

Difference here is though, in Canada at least I have found (personally..not bashing or stereotyping) that it is more uncommon and is taken very positively if a couple can remain friends even after a divorce. I don't know about India, because I've never lived there, but I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that society isn't how it is portrayed in PR.

There is no wrong in being friends with your ex, regardless of the circumstances of your divorce (unless there is physical, mental or sexual abuse of course). What irks me the most though is that Shravani doesn't understand that 2 people can be friends even after a divorce, even after she has lived/studied out of the country. She started off as such a sweet and lovable character, but the CVs had to ruin it as always.

Anyhows, that is my rant for now, it's been bubbling up for a while. Honestly I haven't watched the show in at least a month, since Jaywant and Archu's engagement anyways.

I don't know if my sentiments are echoed, but I want the show to either improve and not be so suffocating to watch, or just simply end. I want them to stop butchering the show and its characters further. I started to feel physically suffocated when I watched the show, so I stopped, not I feel suffocated when I read the updates, so I'm doing that few and far apart too.

I would have hated it if archu had ignored manav at this point .

Agree with your sentiments and I was in the same boat as you .. I was feeling suffocated especially when The entrire K clan was after Archu to remarry.. and now I feel the same.. all Ks. Ds, Rs are bashing her for her so called misbehavior..
I am really disappointed in Sul.. Sul as a mother fell for outsider's pressure and forced her daughter into something that her daughter is not going to be happy with..
I really hope they show Arch staying alone or Arman together without any guit..

PR gets frustrating to watch at times, the whole Manav and Shravani marriage still makes no sense to me. Everyone knows who she got pregnant for, they know who Sachin's father really is so why does she need to get married? Why can't her son have Sachin's name? It is not like Sachin abandoned Shravani, he died. It is no fault of hers or her child.

As for Savita struggling she was getting help but she had too much pride and refused it, so can't feel much sympathy for her especially since she her actions of late have not helped Manav at all (threatening the inspector)

I truly feel bad for Archana while I don't think she should hold Manav in such high regards she is following her heart, she knows Manav is innocent and wants to help him. Ever since Dharmesh brought up the idea of Archana getting married to Jaywant her family has not given her peace! Everyone was forcing her to accept Jaywant, marry him because it is for her own good, for her future. She finally accepted, but her family just continued pushing her over the edge and instead of looking at her pain and the fact she is not ready for this marriage, they are continuing to push her. She probably feels suffocated in this entire mess, she should have no thoughts and opinions of her own she must devote the rest of her life to making others happy, do what others want. Archana is in a no win situation here, if she does what her family wants then her life continues to be in misery, if she does what she wants she still faces hardships.
