Round 2: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Note: Very recent song, so obviously good for this "Recent Songs" Round.

Its a nice track by SEL and a hit one too. RFAK makes giant strides as a singer with tremendous energy and nice use of murkiyaan in between, his trademark. His high notes and clarity of tone plus voice quality is also good in medium notes at middle verses.
The tune does tend to get a bit tedious at the end but that energy is maintained. But its shreya that actually dominates in terms of singing as she gets more portions to sing, she too does a splendid job. Overall a nice duet song.

Limited scale aside, some control over the voice can be a bit tighter towards the second half but overall again, a neat splendid singing.
Nice track sadly forgotten due to film's failure.

I would give a 9.. i have just heard this song once.. but from whatever I can recollect, RFAK is really good in this song.

Combine effort of RFAK & SEL is awesome
as this is the only track i like from the album & Hamesha & forever the to best track form the album


song feel is good as rahetji is soo good it . his voice had some unique texture that everyone loves to hear that & max of them i love it

so Rating 9/10

Definitely a 9/10 for Rahatji. Great performance, only I wish he had more lines, the female singer also did an awesome job.

Its a really good track. And its really great to see Rahat trying something different here, as usually I had always considered him only a "Sufi singer" & never thought his voice would fit into romantic genre's but this song proved me wrong, I even love his bol na halke. I m still thinking whether to give it a 9 or 10, i m confused now, Rahat's expressions & voice quality was really good.
