He should be punished first... then he can have a second chance with Meera or whomever he likes but in the honest way!!

I apologise as I am about to philosophize😕

First I think that if a person is really truly sorry and wants to make things right then he should be given a chance to try. I mean Dev finally seems to get on the right path if at this time he is not allowed to even try to make up for his mistake then next time he will not even bother for he could feel that its not going to work. I am NOT saying that Geet and Dev should get together as that will never work.

Second If the whole Dev thing didnt happen then Geet would still have been in Hoshiyarpur and probably married to some guy her family would have chosen for her. Then (and ppl this is a scary thought so sit down) there would be no Maneet.😲😲😲😲 It would be Maan in Delhi and Geet in Hosiyarpur. 🤢

So I think that Dev should try and we will decide at a later date if we think he is ready to be forgiven.

When a person repents with all his/her sincerety n honesty from the bottom of his heart then he must be givan a chance to rectify himself/herself.Otherwise he'll never ever try to rectify himself and become a great burden to the society.

We know we can not change the past whatever happened already,we can not bear the pain she's gone thru bcoz of this man Dev but it is equallly holds good that had it nt happened then she would have not met MSK the real love of her life.

But for me b4 giving another chance he must be made realized what a blunder he had done in his life by trying to ruin a life of gal who blived in him as her hubby.He must repent to the core and make himself strong enough that he's not gonna repeat this heinous act to any other gal in his life just for the sake of money.He must not make a sin of making a fun of a Pavitra relation like marr thru out his life,he must understand marr is nt a game which you can play with anyone you like.Even this will be good for his own future if he really feels for Meera now,another lady in his life other than NT.He must respect the dignity of the relations.I sincerely do not want to see Meera to suffer coz of all his inconsistent and cowardice attitude once gain.Again she's a lady who stood by him in his most difficult time of life with all her honest approach.She must be reciprocated with the same dignity and feelings she has for him.

THANKS A LOT this is wat i had in ma mind. As Dev as gone to heights in realizationa nd telling the truth and accept the punishment i think he can be given a second chance. But he Defo sud be punished first for the sin he has committed.

the question or the point is just not about giving Dev a second chance.... the main point we are missing here is Dev has done wrong...what he has done is a grave mistake, a sin, a crime...though he repents his mistake today, he cannot undo the pain he has infiltrated in Geet...i know Dev is regretting what he has done today, but what he did in his past cannot be forgiven...i feel that may be it was under Naintara's influence that Dev did wrong, but Dev just cannot justify his mistake on those grounds, because Dev is not a kid jisko Naintara ne force kiya to do something...may be it was Naintara's idea but Dev consented to do it on his own will....i feel along with Naintara, even Dev is equally responsible for the miseries Geet has faced in her life...just because he is guilty & regretting today for the deeds he has done, does not mean that the sins of his past are washed away....it is always said that 'Sorry Cannot Make A Dead Man Alive', this applies in this case too just by feeling sorry Dev cannot take away the pain Geet has faced every second of her life after he left her stranded....thus i don't think Dev deserves a second chance..... this is my opinion...no offense to anyone......😊

ya i agree with u to some extent...!!
but marrying her or ditching her is something which can be forgotten...but what he did..to geet is defintely not acceptable..he was already married for god's sake and how would he able to sleep with another girl if he really loves his wife??
and now no matter how much guilty he is...it does not matter..!!
the damage is already done...!!
i want geet 2 slap him tightly so that he won't be able 2 do this to another girl..also..we can't blame NT completely for suspecting dev..she suspects him because she knows that geet is pregnant with dev's child..no matter how much evil she is...her action towards dev is justified...!!

Oh I totally agree I am not saying that all should be forgiven since he is sorry. All i am saying is he should try. If he thinks going to prision is what will make up for what he did to Geet then by all mean go to prision. If he thinks he should tell Maan and then be disowned then so be it. We will judge afterwards if the punisment fits the crime and if he should be forgiven.
