Hey friends,
My apologies for not being able to write for some time. I would be rushing things today as well, but after watching today's epi, I just had to write.
Wo kehtay hein na, "mohabbat nay, mohabbat ko, mohabbat say, pukara hai ........" this is exactly what i felt today. Maan's mohabbat was calling Geet's mohabbat with all the love, sincerity, honesty and devotion in this world. And the best part, Geet reciprocated. She respected his feelings, his emotions, his call of love, and accepted its depth with the depth of her hearts.
He told her everything, once again, and this time it was simple, sweet, and pure. She heard it all (thank God) without any interruptions, and understood it all. And above all, she reciprocated, she accepted, and she gave the same message.
As I have always always been saying, I don't think Maan and Geet's love are dependent on I LOVE YOU. It is the tenderness of that love, the quietness yet expressiveness of those emotions that matters. and today again Maan and Geet and most of all, the CV proved that love doesn't need a language. Love in itself is a language which can give life to any relationship. Maan and Geet's relationship got a new life today. A life which can breathe, which can smile, which can laugh, which can enjoy, and which can LOVE.
She told him about all her fears, all her concerns, and all her apprehensions; the baby and the responsibilities associated with it; and he very beautifully accepted it all. Not once making it an ehsaan or anything like that. That's Maan's love, beyond words, beyond explanations, beyond expressions. That's Maan's love, above and beyond everything.
She told his, she is not pavitar, and he made a statement of his and her life, "aur tum say pavitar kaun ho ga Geet." she looked at him with amazement and bewilderment; he looked at her with surety and belief. She was unable to believe what she just heard, and he had believed every word that he had said.
"Aur meray liyay pavitarta ka mainay tum h ho Geet …." She was amazed, he was confident … and with this statement, he told her once again what she means to him. The overflow of his sentiments and love was evident and she could see all of it. And as if she wants to jazb it all in her, she smiled a little – amazed yet able to believe.
And than the taveez …. Yet again … the epitome of their love, the true essence of their relationship. She said she wanted to tie him in a bandhan, and to me, it was as if she had finally accepted what baba ji had been trying to tell her for soo long. She had tried denying it, she had tried, avoiding it, she had tried, ignoring it, she had tried disregarding it, but each and every time she knew she was wrong; each and every time she knew, she was meant to be Maan's and each and every time she knew she would never be able to run away from him. She ahd finally accepted her feelings for Maan and was ready to take a step forward. Was ready to trust him. was ready to live her life with him ….
Maan …. he saw the taveez in her hand. How can he forget that beautiful piece … it had always connected him to her. He bent his head as if telling her, main nay tu is taveez ki taqat kay aagay bohat pehlay sar jhuka diya tha … mein janta tha and janta hoon kay tum sirf aur sirf meri thi, meri ho, aur meri hi raho gi.
And then came the best statement of all …
Geet: "aaj kay baad humhain zindagi bhar kay liyay baandhay rakhay gi"
Maan: "zindagi bhar" … Maan reaching out … spreading his hand, asking her silently to hold it and mark it as hers … asking her to give him and giving her a promise of love, respect, devotion, loyalty, dedication, commitment, affection, and trust … forever.
She took his hand, silently promising him every promise he had asked through his eyes. And that one moment, when all doubts were cleared, when all apprehensions were shattered, when all hesitations were eased, when all throttles were simplified, she stepped in his arms. That one moment when hearts touched hearts, and every heartbeat promised submission, compliance, surrender. That one moment when she marked him as hers and he marked her as his. That one moment when life was beautiful most. That one moment when without saying a single word, every inch of their being shouted … I love you, I belong to you, and I shall be yours forever.
Brilliance was at its best today,
Sincerity was at its best today,
Submission was at its best today,
Expression was at its best today,
LOVE was at its best today.
Lots of love, Kashish
