Emboldened, Dev bravely tiptoed into Maan's bedroom to gently query if he knew about Dev & Geet ka fake story. Then he comes to do Damage control....and see the a$$ kicking Machine warming up (Maan fuming)....u can see his face loosing color and he literally seemed like he is gonna pee his pants...he is terrified about whats gonna happen to him......repentance can go jump out the window...all he can think about Nain ka Pains warnings...regarding his fate...he is jumpy and spooked...every shadow seems like its closing in on him....every thing comes from Maans mouth seems like a death warning to him...No Way Out...so what does he do...trying to plead ignorance...future foreshadowing here...Perhaps he will deny ever knowing Geet???....but as soon as he realizes that Maans not talking about his case....he starts becoming the sympathetic advisor...killing two birds with a stone...

a)gaining browny points and b) paving his way for future...if Maan ever finds out...all he is gonna say is i was trying to collect enought guts to come and confess...aka Needed timee....and then at the end...relief...to find Geet...now what does that say about him??.....if he apologizes to Geet...what does he expect will happen?....wouldnt she send him to jail??.......then the truth will be out in front of Bro??....(DevTard's reasoning not very sound but here they are )so now the idea of playing the tortured soul comes in the picture...if Maan never knows Geet and Dev goes to jail...Maan will be siding with Dev na...be sympathetic to him and respect his noble idea of repentance....might get him out soon too...then all shall be undercontrol. another scenario would be to cry and cry infront of Geet...emotionally blackmail her some how to forgive him...and then he lives happily ever after to ruin his next victims life....i mean a new woman...coz Myra, he will take advantage of during this whole confession/confrontation fiasco.

theres always more to be seen about DevTard...his expression in the promo seem so disbelieving or constipated...as u percieve...but my bet is on him bolting the first thing out of the engagement party and then coming back to Blackmail Geet later.
