Only few hours back i was thinking of all the songs from amanush and anada ashram. Chain of thoughts did take me to the same conclusion - shyamal's versatality. Wish he had given more (atleast some more) :-)

He did lot of work in Bangla. In hindi he did not do much. Yes he was versatile. Amanush songs are really very good ones. Both these movies were I think made from the bengali movie with the same name. And even in the Bengali movie the MD is Shyamal Mitra.

How could I download those songs of Shymal Mitra? I became so much nostalgic when I was reading your posts. I like Manabendra too.

apparaohoare ji...u said my name "anika" was a south name? i heard that its a russian name...but anyways...in bangladesh there are sooooooooooooooo many anika...omg! u cant believe...once i saw a mini bus named "anika" how i know that? when i was there n those ticket seller was like "anika..anika...anika...ticket kinen..ekhon matro 500 taka.."blah..blah.. it really scared the **** out of me...god! 😳😳

SHYAMAL MITRA was a true LEGEND . But I dont think his son SHOIKAT MITRA is that good a singer . He is quite a letdown actually . 😭

couldn't agree more 😊......Shaikat tries his best to play 2nd fiddle to his Dad but fails miserably.....he is always singing his father's numbers but is unable to do justice to it🤢
