In a previous post I was cribbing and complaining about lack of continuation. Now, either the CVs are telepathic, or I'm just an overreacting, lil twit who doesn't have any patience! If yesterday confused me, today's episode almost took my breath away.
Finally, and may I repeat FINALLY, Geet openly and directly spoke to Maan about his significance in her life. Her words uttered shyly but said with a great deal of sincerity. You could just see the look in Maan's eyes…as if he had been waiting for eternity. His eyes simply lit up as she spoke. That scene itself gave me goose bumps. And icing on the cake was how Geet embraced Maan. And here I was thinking, can this scene get any better?! The highlight of that entire scene was its simplicity. Nothing fancy….just love in its most pure form.
And what can I say about the business trip? Thank God for that Buddha and his poppat of a son, Bunty. If it had not been for their intervention, perhaps we would have had to wait longer for Maan to openly tell the world, "meri Geet." But in that entire scene, the line which touched me the most was when Maan told everyone standing there that Geet's name can only be joined with Maan, and that is the only way it should be. Seriously, are there men like that in this world? If so, please tell me because I'll be there in a jiffy.
Jokes aside, Maan spoke with so much conviction, not only could you hear him say it, you could see him saying it through his eyes. As they say, the eyes are the gate way to the soul and today, MaaNeet said a great deal. Oh, let me not forget the scene where Maan covers Geet's back with her hair, or when he puts the choodiyan on her arm. Once again simple and subtle scene but spoke volumes of his love for Geet.
Thank you, CVs for finally giving us what we wanted. Maan has always been more expressive, which is quite ironic considering his personality. But today Geet took the initiative and that gave me immense pleasure. So now the world knows that Geet is for Maan Singh Khurana only. They have cemented a great deal of trust within their relationship now, which was quite telling when Maan believed Geet about the number on the paper. So now I remain positive about the future. Even when Dev's truth is finally out, at least we can be rest assured that MaaNeet have faith in each other, which will see them through even the most difficult and darkest moments.
Take care all,
