What touched me the most about today's MN scene?
Sigh... there are so many different aspects and I will try my level best to cover all the little bits that need to be brought out. So many small, little gestures that meant a whole lot.
1. The Re-union of MN: What was intriguing about this was the two lines that were said by MayUr. "Margya tha tumhare bina" and "main tho mar bhi nahin paaye " For those who understand the deep love of MN will realize how much this meant. These to lines said a lot. A husband who was alive yet not without his wife and the wife who could not even die without her Husband. These two LIVED for each other & without each other for the past three years.
2. Which route to take? Here is the controversial issue as to how one should have reacted or how the situation should have been treated. (1. Mayank could have talked to Nupur about Dhruv or 2. Mayank could have acted Normal with her)
Why is it that he adopted the second approach? Mayank didnt want Nupur to go through the guilt. He didnt want Nupur to live in those memories of Dhruv. What was the best alternative for a guy to chose? Question her about the pain she has gone through? Keep reminding her of the torturous three years? No!! Mayank is not a guy who would put his Nupur through this. He wanted his old Nupur back.
3. Mayank adores his wife: A man who got his love back... all he could do was just stare. He didnt want to take his eyes off her. He didn't want to lose her again. He wanted to catch up on the three years he had lost. Romance doesnt mean you have to get physical. This was subtle romance in its own way which held a lot of emotional value.
4. Nupur's nightmare: To those who say Nupur dreams of Dhruv. Let me clarify that was a horrid nightmare that has been part of her life for the past three years. To those who say she is normal... let me clarify she hasnt gotten over her past, but she could try, at least? This bit held a lot of importance and I am glad creatives showed this. Nupur hasn't forgotten those three years. It is engraved in her mind and soul.
5. The Trust: My most favorite part in the episode. Nupur was as transparent as could be. She had that much trust on her husband to tell him that this guy use to wake me up. The fear in her eyes was there. She didn't keep anything within her. She knew she has never done anything wrong. Nupur has always made me so proud. A husband hearing his wife telling him that this guy use to wake her up... how was he to react? Shock, Angry, Doubtful.... No! He wasnt going to doubt her.. he doesn't want to question her. He was our Mayank. He sure made me proud. He had this much trust on her that he knew his Nupur is never wrong. The trust bonding they showed here beats anything. Sigh almost had tears while writing this paragraph.
5. Mayank's reassurance: Mayank assures his Nupur that he will always be there with her. He will not let those dreadful memories come back to haunt her again. This was a promise he made to her and himself that he will do anything to make her forget those horrible memories.
He kept his promise. He knows his Nupur. And what did he do?? .... read along
The few light humor scenes which again meant a lot, but most failed to look into these scenes. There was much more to it than you think. They weren't just silly comic scenes. In my eyes they held a lot of importance and a very valuable reason.
What is your definition of a recovery track? Does it necessarily mean you have to show a girl living in fear or a guy feel awkward for several weeks?
Both Mayank and Nupur want to lead a normal life now with only happiness filled in their lives. What did they love doing? Having nok jhoks. This was Mayank & Nupur. A term used by AJ "something just never change" the cuteness behind this was so endearing.
You think deep down Nupur doubts Mayank? The guy who lived in Nupur's memories for past three years? Oh Come on... she knows better. The most lovable thing about this was the fact that Nupur knew that her Mayank loves it when she gets jealous. She knew what Mayank was doing, which was trying to lead this normal life with her and Nupur played along. As I said the love between these two just makes my heart cry.
Now what did the creatives do? They showed a little bit of every aspect today. You had romance, comedy, emotions... how could they ever please all the MN fans? I think they did a fantastic job!! I normally have no admiration for the CVs because I am sorry to say I can never forgive them for removing Rati initially so sorry that respect will not come back, but I can generally appreciate their efforts in trying to redeem the situation and trying to please the MN fans, which they owed us big time.
Before I end this post I want to share something: Today, I was conversing with Aj about the episode and how much we loved it. As we discussed, I happened to mention to AJ that I just wish we had one scene that Cvs could show in which Nupur realizes how Mayank has fulfilled her dream... Suddenly Aj interrupted me and said they did Gagan and i was like hein? Aj what are you talking about? By god the way Aj's brain works at the speed of a jet lol but her reply sent shivers down my back.
Indeed they did:
Nupur's dream: A big house (Mayank's house)... subah subah suraj ke roshni chan se ander aaye... thandi thandi hawa... (Mayank blowing on her face)... woh mujhe dekhtha rahe ... kitnee pyaree aur kitnee komal hai meri nupur (Mayank adoring his Nupur and kissed her)...pyar mein tho neend he udd jaathi hai (Mayank just couldnt sleep).
Nupur having a nauker .. they showed in precap the bhai who works there.
What was the purpose of showing the Bai? That Nupur is jealous? NOOOO it was to show how Nupur has servants and maids in her house.
The girl who dreamed big, who never got the happiness she deserved, her husband is fulfilling those dreams for her.
This is a Jodi Made In Heaven Indeed
