2)fine...if at all drinking water is a big deal than washing her feet, why she did not stop krishna when he did so....instead she was looking at him....( sorry....i don't understand what was her expression at that time....lol)
3)why she was holding that dirty water for such a long time?....she should have threw it when amma told her to drink.instead she was holding it with respect as if she was holding pooja ka thali...girrrr....

The questions of the day are: Was Krishna's reaction the only course of action left to salvage the situation today? not at all...i wish krishna should have stopped her when she washed her feet...

Does giving birth to a child mean the parent has the right to trash the self-esteem of that child at any cost?...no...but did amma told him to drink...that duffer could not find a solution.so he did what it came to his mind instantly....girrrr...

Pretty much! Amma is just a whiny psychotic 3 year old. Krishna is a BINDAAS 'Khane ka Pine ka Khelne ka Tension Nahi Lene ka kya' kind of. He neither wants to bite the hand that feeds him (wonder how would he earn if they ever move out lol) nor ignore the fact that amma is now over the line into abusive. Amma pushed the limits. Had he not push back (drinking that stinky water) baba would be walking on egg shells to help amma making it not too obvious and amma's deal about punishing his babu(lol) wouldn't have ended. Vaguely being afraid of the results is not a helpful response. He responded well.

Not at all. The worst things you can do when trying to get kids to do what you want is to follow through with threats. Every time parents state consequences for an action, every time they lay down rules, they should make sure that kids might have been paralyzed with doubtt n self-loathing from the critical choices that they have to make today .

Launch them to the society where they feel a sense of mastery over their own environment. It's important that they don't feel they are subject to arbitrary guidance or haphazard decisions. Amma toh maa ke naam par kalanak hye na…ungrateful moo! Hear Hear!😆

It was partially I couldn't decode her expression when Krishna was drinking that water. Was it her love that he could go to any length to preserve her identity and self-respect or was it sympathy that Krishna has to go through all these things because of her?

Apparently SS expected Krishna's next action. hence was that smirk on his face.

I thought about the same thing too...as in why did Pratigya let Krishna drink it especially when she herself wasn't ready to drink it for her own reasons?
Well I guess ..out of choice...It was Pratigya's choice not to drink it under any circumstance since she thought it was plain harrassment...but it was Krishna's choice to put an end to the drama and try to maintain the respect of both the ladies in question. I think Krishna doesn't think too much when its about his family and if that something would solve the problem, he would be more likely to do it. I am not too sure about Pratigya's expressions and reactions to him though :)
@ SS's reaction...LOL...it was indeed awesome...😆

1. Well, what Krishu did was not the only course of action but it was certainly the one that salvaged the pride of the two most important women in his life.. With respect to Amma, you have to hand it to the lady she is evil personified.. And Krish drinking the water did prove that his wife's self respect is more important than anything for him.. For this hats off Baba...

He also showed Amma that he loved and cared for her enough to do her illogical bidding.. But he would not let her humiliate his wife... From Krishna's point of view it definitely was commendable gesture.. Yes, I miss the strong Krishna too but we need to realize right now - he wants peace in the house more than anything.. He is happy and wants to stay that way.. Furthermore, he feels (although incorrectly so) that both the women are right...

2.
Nobody has the rights to sabotage anyone's self respect unless we give them the right.. And parents are the only ones that a child looks to for reinforcement and encouragement... And if parents are the ones trampling over our self esteem it is like the worst kind of betrayal.. The Thakur's have sunk so low that the fossils are looking down on them... They suck..

The way he walked away with Prats and Ganti Dadi was smiling was so cute. She is rooting for them, like she rang the bell when Prats stuffed the ladoo into his mouth on his b'day.

/QUOTE] that was very nice but I truly loved her reaction to Krishna drinking the water on prats behalf she was proud of her grandson and she rang her bell to show she approved her face was glowing at that time with love for him and prats.

it was obnocxious as always..but sweet
he took his wife's pain as his and handled the situation very well.i would be proud of krishna
as well if i were to be his wife.(omg i wish iwas.)
