Tuesday's storylines........ We begin with a bypass to A-A romance. Prof. Shamu gave Prats a much-needed boost to be satya-savithri and fight for the truth. Takur Special continues from where we left off y'day. So, here we go.😃
At the courthouse Kesar recanted her FIR and affixed her thumbprint to close the books on this nightmare. SS watched with rapt attention. Amma smiled with wide-eyed relief pleased that she was scot-free of the charges. Komal smiled with pride for her accomplishment in forcing Kesar to squash the FIR. Komal you may have a chance to reflect for your behavior today, earlier than expected. KN smirked with glee to be free of the charges. Krishna was the only one who watched quietly with uneasy reservation. The Takur family left the police station free and clear of the charges thanks to Kesar😕. Hope you have learned something from this situation and don't forget it so easily the next time your husband manhandles you or your sasuma takes her anger out on you without a second thought. We hope you will soon be strong enough to ask for help when you need it.
Prats left Ganti Dadi to herself while the Takurs were taking care of matters at the police station. Nainaji was surprised to see Prats on her doorstep, but Dadi was thrilled and wanted to have a chat with her pothi. Dadi must be lonely these days, seeing the way she dragged Prats inside. Absence does make the heart grow fonder. But before Dadi could even get started Prats expressed her concern that Komal may coerce Kesar to withdraw the FIR given how she had forcefully taken her to the police station. We agree it was done under duress and coercion too, given how Kesar parroted Komal's version of the story and dropped the charges against SDS and KN.
Nainaji supported her bahu's actions to get the FIR squashed but that didn't sit well with Prats, so she went looking for Papa to get some much needed reinforcement. The Takurs were still away and she managed to make a quickie trip to maike.😲
Papa was doing what was normally expected of a Professor on a day off, lounging on his bed reading a book. After exchanging pleasantries Prats voiced her concerns to Papa. She had stood against evil and wrongdoing this time as she always did. Why was she mistaken and pointed a finger at for standing up for the truth? Why did it bother them to see her defend the truth be it someone who loved her or hated her guts. That would be Krishna who loved her and SDS who hated her with a passion.
Prof. was in full form to deliver his speech to a single but willing audience. He began with a reminder that when one wants to do something good or stand up for the truth the path is not an easy one, but a difficult one. Sounds familiar where have we heard that before? Oh yeah! Krishna loved doing "katin kaam" too. He has that in common with Prats besides many other traits. Shamu explained to Prats that very few people have the strength to stand up for the truth. The ones that defy the truth put on a brave front bec' they are scared to face it. He praised Prats for being courageous to go down a difficult path she had chosen to take. If enough people showed this kind of courage earth would be a heavenly place. Cowards never win. Those who take on the fight win and never fear falling off the cliff/mountain top. Prof. reminded Prats of a poem he often read to her as a child, the one he had learned in school that gave him courage and support during the tough times. When the going gets tough, the tough get going?😲 He told Prats to always make sure the Olympic torch was always burning in her to uphold the truth for that would help win every fight. Prats was all fired up and ready to go again. She thanked her Papa for his talk had revived her courage and removed all her fears. Prof. reminded her that her path ahead was going to be difficult that she didn't have to be scared. Sounds like a foreboding of things to come in Prats's life in the near future. Does that mean pati-patni romance takes a back seat too?😲 Prof. reminded her that Pratigya's (her) recognition was her courage to fight for the truth. If she held on to the courage she would win. He blessed her and recited the beautiful poem. I will leave it to those who are good at translating poetry to prose more effectively to step up and do justice to the poem. Tanths, you up for it? SS dropped Komal after refusing to go into her sasural's home at Mumfordgunj. I guess you have to save face from Prof. who no doubt would smirk and taunt you and your family for their vile actions. He admitted he didn't have the courage neither did his mind permit him to go into that house where people expressed so much against the Takur family. We wonder why! Obviously you are projecting some of it, even if there is a kernel of truth to it. There is a lot of friction between the samandhs even after the children have worked it out between them. SS felt if things get out of control Komal couldn't live at her sasural. He reminded his bitiya to stay cool in the kopadiya. Amma wished Komal happiness. This woman's heart is not devoid of love for her daughter. It's only her bahus she can't stand. Could it be that she's a control freak who needs to be queen of the jungle? When did she sideline Ganti Dadi? Before or after the older son killed his wife? Btw, did SS marry only after his brother killed his wife? Ok, let's leave that for another day.
The Takurs arrived at the Niwas to find Prats sitting with Ganti Dadi. Interesting how Prats came back to the same spot we saw her at when the Takurs had left for the police station y'day. Prats was surprised to see KN and SDS back home. Why the surprise Prats? You knew your bhabhi is like a mule on a mission. SDS looked daggers at Prats. If looks could kill Prats would be a pile on the floor of center stage. Prats didn't back down. After all she had just returned home after receiving a booster shot from her Papa, a trip she took in their absence, none of the Takurs knew about it😉. Prats's stood her ground with courage, no longer a crying nervous girl but a gutsy one standing up to face her sasuma. Ahhhhh, the power of love! She was secure in her marriage now so taking on her sasuma was a walk in the park for her now. Looking at the bold and somewhat defiant expression on Prats's face Krishna knew it was not meant for him😉. His wife after all loved him😳. He turned around and looked at SDS standing behind him glaring at Prats. Krishna was once again in the middle with Amma behind him indicating his past and Prats in front of him facing his future. Kya baat hai!👍🏼👏😃
Takurain walked up to Prats while SS sat on his cot, a willing spectator, enjoying the notanki his Takurain was starting once again on center stage. These Takurs need to find another sport to engage them besides family notanki every day. As Krishna said "har roz konu bakida shuru karthe hai e loge"! SDS has too much time on her hands she spends terrorizing her bahus and playing the fallout from it for her husband's entertainment later on.Grrrrrrrrrr!😡
Takurain vented with sarcasm at Prats. Krishna was affected by it but Prats stood her ground not one bit shaken by SDS's words. SS smirked, a look of approval on his face applauding his Takurain's accusation. Krishna looked helpless while KN watched with interest. She accused Prats of having crossed all limits today when she had decided to send her sasuma to the police station instead of teerth-yatra like all other bahus did.😡 Well, Takurain, the recent teerth-yatra didn't seem to have worked for you. You came back more vicious and did something unimaginable and played accomplice to your child-killer son. Let's see if a trip to the Thana does you any good. For all we know it may work wonders for you. I'm sure most of them in the Niwas will agree including your sasuma who has your number. Standing up for her Takurain pride she said no woman had ever been to police station in her family be it her maike or her sasurals. Well there is always a first time Takurain, ever heard the saying "you do the crime, you do the time". You got lucky that you gave birth to a bully for a daughter who managed to get your badi bahu to drop the charges. Count your blessings, aren't you the lucky one this time😲 around that that bitiya stepped up to the plate for you? You may not get so lucky the next time around when she regains her memory.😕
Takurain told Prats that only one of them would stay at the Niwas. Krishna was taken aback by his mother's words. Ganti Dadi was looking on waiting to see how things went. Kesar was surprised and KN pleased while SDS challenged Prats face to face. Krishna after a bit of confusion stepped up and told his Amma to forget the recent events and move forward. But Takurain wouldn't have any of it. She started with her demeaning name-calling challenging Krishna to consider if Prats's choice to send her to jail was an act of enemity or of love. She accused him of being blind to his wife's atyachar on her. Come again? You must think your son Krishna is dumb as a doorknob to make such a crass statement to his face. Krishna let her vent hurt by his mother's words.All the crapola he has to hear for having fallen in love with Prats.Chin up Baba👍🏼, things will swing in your favor soon enough.👍🏼😳
Takurain once again questioned krishna what had been lacking in nourishing him as a child that he chose to behave this way with her. Hell hath no fury than a Takurain sent to the police station. She called Krishna "useless" yep that's exactly what she called him. She refused to forget what had happened as long as she lived. She didn't have to listen to him bec' he was not her caretaker or provider. She threw down the gauntlet'today the decision will be made if she or Prats stayed in the Niwas. The Niwas was too small for both of their egos to survive? SDS was fuming while KN sniffed his fingers as usual taking pleasure at the thought of his devarani being tossed out of the house. How many times have the Takurs tried this? SS dragged her out at the second havan, KN did after coalface painting and now it's Amma's turn? When will they learn from their mistakes? Kesar looked nervous or confused, hard to tell, but mildly responsive to the diraama unfolding before her. Was she questioning her decision somewhere in the back of her mind? Hope the neurons are starting to awaken at least a little even if she is not yet ready to act on it.
Ganti dadi looked on like "what the heck?"😲 How does this woman say on mute in spite of the depth of notanki in the house. Ganti dadi, please speak up, what will it take to get you to work those vocal chords again? Or are they useless after 21 years of being inactive. Prats stared right back at her sasuma with no intentions of backing down. Wonder who will win this staring contest? We prefer the staring contest between Krishna and Prats anyday😳. The battle lines had been drawn for a saas-bahu showdown😡. Which of these Takur men will take cover? Which Takurain will win this round? Prats has strong and influential allies on her side'''Krishna and Ganti Dadi. Takurain has KN and SS on her side. Eh'.not all that powerful except if they start swinging their rifles. The odds are stacked strongly in Prats's favor. Please take your ringside seats and wait with bated breath for the next round coming up tomorrow.👏
