hypocrisy

Note: I am brand new fan of MKAP. Just started watching it couple of weeks ago. I have watched most of the episodes but not all of them. So, please correct me if I am wrong with any of the details. Here is what I understood from the episodes I have watched so far.


I know people liked the scene between Shyam and Pratigya today, but I have got to say, it felt like hypocrisy to me. Let me explain.If they both(Pratigya and Shyamji) are burayi ka virodh karne wale and sachayi ka saath dhene wale then they sure don't act like it in their own personal lives.

Situation 1: Let us assume that Pratigya made kesar file the FIR to get justice for kesar nd burayi ka virodh karne ke keliye. When Krishna was after Pratigya and forcing her to marry him(he was literally harassing her, stalking her, being aggresive and what not -- I understand he was in love but he did stalk her :-) 😊), why didn't she file an FIR against krishna. If she really believed that filing an FIR could get her justice, why didn't she do it then. Pratigya even tried to run away and Shyamji was with her. You all remember how Krishna got them back. Why not fight krishna the right way. I understand they wanted to but krishna shot Angad and filed a counter case on Adarsh and that is why they backed out. So what? Just keep fighting by filing your own complaint. Pratigya knew that filing a FIR will not bring her justice. So, inorder to get her own justice, she agreed to marry krishna and make his life miserable by not letting him touch her. She should have taught the same lesson to kesar :-) To take revenge by withholding s*x with shatkti. He will learn his lesson. :-)

Situation 2: When Pratigya learns the truth that it was Angad who kidnapped her, she wanted to tell krishna about the kidnapping. But Guruji stops her and makes her promise him that she will not tell krishna the truth. Why Guruji? What happened to always standing by the truth(Sachayi ka saath dhena). Krishna deserved to know the truth after how she behaved with him. Why did you stop her from telling the truth? Even though she promised Guruji that she won't tell krishna, she wanted to in her mind and even tried couple of times. But she always, paused and thought about how krishna would react once she told the truth. Remember the kitchen scene when krishna hugs her from behind and also when he asks her if she had any boyfriend. She took her time to think about how his reaction would be. This shows that when it comes to their own personal lives, they don't always stand by the truth. They conveniently forget it or choose not to disclose it. Poor thing, he only came to know about it when she disclosed it in the court in front of everyone. He had to face the humiliation of it all.

So, in Kesar's case why didn't she pause and think about how SS/Krishna/Amma/Shakti would react if she made kesar file the FIR. Why didn't she think about how they would react against kesar. People say, that she was brave to stand up for kesar and sacrifice her marital happiness for kesar. I would say that is bull shit. She knows in her heart that no matter what krishna will love her. That is why she risked it. But what about kesar. What will happen to her. I don't think shakti will treat her nice becuase she withdrew the case, I think he will beat her black and blue for filing the FIR in the first place. Why didn't Pratigya think of this consequence for kesar. When she could think for herself, why didn't she think for kesar.

i liked your point on why pratigya not choose to register FIR when krishna was troubling her.. that time too it was the same powerful family.. that time she choose a different route .. now she is all sachai ki devi when it comes to kesar..

Totally agree with you.

Proffeser and his dear daughter have lot of theoritical knowledge. And when applying it in practice, they want to experiment it on others without giving it a second thought and see the results from a distance. When it comes to themselves, they pause, have multiple discussions and multiple excuses for applying their knowledge in a direct way; at this time they can come up with lots of indirect ways to approach the problem.

So true. I am sick of the inconsistency in the Saxena household.

Exactly. After everything that Krishna went through because of the Angad secret, how can Shamji have the nerve to act all self righteous?! 😡 That father daughter scene really outraged me, such hypocrites! They can see everyone else's flaws but they can't see their own!
