I think once a person is certified that he or she is medically or physically in very bad shape ( esp with advanced age) he or she should have to right to ask the doc to terminate their life.

Most people do not want to be an unnecessary burden and lose all self respect.

People have a right to die with dignity. Nobody wants to end up plugged into machines and wired to tubes. Who wants to spend their last days lying in a hospital bed wasting away to something that's hardly recognizable as a human being, let alone his or her former self? The very thought insults the whole concept of what it means to be human. People are entitled to dignity, in life and in death. Just as we respect people's right to live with dignity, so we must respect their right to die with dignity. In the case of the terminally ill, that means people have the right to refuse life-sustaining treatment when it's apparent to them that all the treatment is doing is destroying their dignity, and reducing them to some subhuman level of humanity.

Yes silent thoughts ji I agree.

But problem is some ladies may want to terminate their lives just becoz they have a pimple or a wrinkle.😆

So I guess they have to be at least ove 70 years to have the privelege or get a court order.

What about young woman who are RAPED after marriage by a stranger ?? And what to terminate their life in order to free themselves from the endless taunt they have to suffer for the rest of their lives ???

Ah Shak, that is quite true.

gosh sometimes it is easier to die then to live.

But at times a crisis makes us a better person.

Still most people do not want to be a burden.

But in some cases the children want the old parents to die earlier, so they can save on medical costs ( that is too much). One of my friends had this problem as his uncles wanted the Great grandmother to die sooner.

That is seriously nauseating on their part .. Kids who can't take care of their parents during their hour of need are not worth a LIFE !! What if their parents had the same attitude with them during their childhood ????

Needless to say, there are parents who torture their kids for petty things.

yes frankly it all starts with greed.

Guess greed and desire blind us and the brain ceases to work.
