Words are the most influential and powerful tool, but they are also the most destructive. It's like water and fire - they can make you or they can take you. And so, if words not spoken at the right time, can take you to a place you don't want to go.
When he was sure that this is what love is, that this is what he wanted, and this is the right thing, he gave her the opportunity to speak. He longed to hear 3 little words that would change his life. And when she spoke the 3 words she wanted to, it sure did change his life. But not how he had expected. Instead of 'I love you', he heard 'Main pregnant hoon'. Just 3 words, and so much power! If these were uttered by a married lady to her husband, these would be the best he had ever heard. But these made his house of cards come crashing down. And why not? The person whom you love so much has been consumed by someone else before you even get to dream about it. It is sure disturbing. He acted like any human would. But what followed was his inhuman nature.
Just a few hours ago, he wanted to hear her out, he wanted her to talk to him. He was dying to listen to her. But in these few hours, the world had changed. The last thing he wanted to do, was listen to her. He spat venom with every word he uttered thence.
And then tables turned. She forced him to listen her entire truth, which shook him so hard that he stood still like a statue. She was waiting for words of comfort, words of anger, words of jealousy...but least she expected were words of betrayal. 'Mujhe toh laga tha tum sirf meri ho'. These few words can be interpreted in so many ways were they spoken at a different time...
-- When she said she is pregnant - It would be ok to say it then for he didn't know the truth yet and she would have understood - sooner or later.
-- When she said she accepted the other guy wholeheartedly - It would have made sense there also..for she knew he loved her.
-- When she said usne mere saath ek raat guzari aur mujhe chodke chala gaya - it would STILL have been ok, although the context then would be more physical. She would have been hurt, very hurt.
-- When she said what's my fault if I came closer to you - THIS threw everything out to context. After confessing she has come closer to him, he tells her he's not happy about the fact that he's not the only guy in her life...Boy that can be disturbing! He made her feel tainted...not worthy of his love. She got the hint...but a wrong one.
And then the last thing she wanted to do was hear him speak. For now she felt no word can undo the damage already caused.
But he will find her, he will fight with her and get her back, and he will make sure she accepts her love for him. Things will now be different for them both
She will fill his life with lighter moments
She will make him grow as a lover
She will make him control his anger
He will give her all the happiness she has been deprived of
He will give her all the love she craved for
He will give her all the support she hoped for
He will give her all the comfort she dreamed of
Oh some beautiful Maaneet moments are on their way..hang tight folks.
