A Tribute to the CVs

Initially I wsnt sure whether I would ever start a thread like this one here! bt a recent scene in Geet made me. But I think tht we have praised the actors so much so tht the real ppl who have behind the maneet magic have not been thanked for their share of efforts. With this thread I would like all members to realise how well the CVs of Geet have handled their audience and never once let us down. There was a time where we had said tht they are stretching the serial (and I ws among the first to start complaining) but before much hype could be created the CVs did wht they did best and brought about significant changes! The scene which actually prompted me to write this post ws the recent one where Maan eats the papaya and Maaneet share a good laugh, at tht moment all I could think ws hw amazingly the CVs adjusted this brilliant little treat for the audience!

This thread is an appreciation thread any sort of disagreement is anticipated bt if presented in a sensible manner. So members join this post and mention ur favourite maneet moment and a word of praise for the hard working CVs. I know many of the members wud still comment on the awesomeness of the actors which is nt banned here bt prefered if kept minimal and a few words fr the CVs is a must in the commenting area.

After watching a lot of Hindi and regional serials, I was wondering what is making me admire geet so much, think about it all the time, making watch the repeats and YT uploads like crazy.

the cv's r really different.the ideas they come up wit r vry unique.honestly i had stopped watching serials becos of this stupid rona dhona n had switched over to reality shows but really geet is a vry vry diff show.nt only in terms of story but also in terms of characterization.evry character is special in its own term.all characters r skillfully sketched.all actors r doing equally good.

Is it Dhrasti?

She is a miracle that has occured in the television industry in recent times. I am just going through the list of actors who could do justice to the character Geet as beautifully as DD, I am having to say I couldnt zero upon one. She is a visual treat.

Is it Gurmeet?

Well enough has been written about GC, still there is a never ending quest to admire him, see him in action, live through his anger, passion, love, care and thirsty eyes.

Is it the other actors?

Everyone is just apt for their respective roles. You hate seeing NT, Sasha, want to crush Dev at the next possible opportunity, want to hug dadima, become the sword that would go through Brij, then here is their victory in bringing their characters to reality.

But above all, there is one force which is controlling and driving all of the above and that is the CVs.

What makes you glued to the serial more than all the above factors is the way the script is being written. One day there is intense action, the next day when you anticipate more action, they take you by surprise by throwing in a lot of comedy. You post so many predictions on possibility of Maannot believingGeet even after knowing her full truth, you are here to witness Maan running madly behind her to prevent himself from losing her once for all. These are small nice twists they have been giving to Geet which makes it different from every other serial.

I am happy that you started this post and hope more well framed thoughts flow in from fellow geetians in praise of CVs who have given us one of the best soaps of television industry - GEET.
