Even though Holi is over, the colour on Shweta Tiwari's face has yet to fade. The actress had a fight with co-star Ronit Roy on the Kasautii Zindagii Kay sets on Friday evening, when a routine shoot turned into a major fiasco.

The scene required Roy to put some colour on Tiwari, but she claims he went overboard and stuffed her mouth and ears with gulal.

"I don't know why he did that. All that was asked of him was to apply minimal colour on me. But Ronit was in the mood to play Holi and was running around the sets dousing everyone with colour," says Shweta.

'I pushed him'

Is it true that she punched him? "If someone comes and douses you with colour zabardasti, against your wishes, will you stay quiet? Of course I pushed him, but anyone in my place would do that. I definitely didn't punch him, as he claims," she says.

Tiwari now is shooting in Sri Lanka for a commercial, "The colour is still on my face and despite bathing, isn't going away. I had made it clear that I had to leave that day for Sri Lanka, and was trying to shoot as much as possible. In fact, our director had strictly instructed Ronit to be careful in applying colour on me, despite which he did this," she says.

Adds a source who witnessed the incident, "Ronit already had a wrist injury a few days back. I saw Shweta pushing him and asking him to back off. From where I was standing, I couldn't see any punching."

Set witnesses

Tiwari says the entire Kasautii set was witness to what transpired. "Why don't you go on the set and talk to people. They know who did what. I don't want to give undue importance to the person or the incident."

Meanwhile, Ronit's sole comment was, "I don't want to talk about Shweta Tiwari."

After we spoke to Shweta on the phone, Subhash, an assistant director with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, came on the line and said that Ronit had become violent with him, too.

"Ronit wanted to apply colour on me. I ran away because I don't enjoy Holi. His driver ran after me, and when Ronit came close, his driver told him that I had told him, 'Tu Ronit Roy ka driver zaroor hoga, lekin mera kya ukhad lega?' At this, Ronit got provoked."

But Ronit denied any incident with Subhash. Then Subhash again came on the line; this time, he recanted. "No violence happened with me. Everything is fine here," he said.

Lolzzz publicity stunt alright! Let's ask the Sri Lankans whether they saw any color on Shweta Tiwari when they saw her arrive at their city! LOL!

I dont know why they are making a big deal outta this- I am sure that Ronit is not AT ALL at fault- and what shweta's claming that he was dousing everyone with color- hell!! It was a Holi shoot!!

Gossshhh!! Someone save this lady..and please someone save Ronit outta this whole mess..poor him:(((

Yes she came with patches. all over her face. 😃 😃 😃 just kiding. 😆.She is sweet thing I saw her. Her Dance .That San Sanan Dance.
She told without rehersal she danced. myyyyyyyy. Have you met her? She has something unusual Quality I have never seen before. Pll were telling She should have come with Anurag or Bajaj. They love the couple dear, as a whole.
I do not know why?

She was in very happy mood. Smiling all the time. Her sarees were sparkling more than her face. She wore a samon pink sweet saree for the reception. I couldn't belive my eyes. Is this Prerna . She told she eats drinks sleeeps dance, and walks as Prerna. She is motor mouth . One thing thats true. 😆 hi hi hi . She captured the whole audience in no minutes.
Security was vert tight for her.

Aahh, I didn't read this article wholly coz I had read a very similar article in the same paper!! The paper seems to be anti-ronit like tulip mentined in another thread on the same incident.

Like you guys said, it's a damn publicity stunt by ekta and her team to generate hype for the holi episodes coz kzk is supposedly ruling according to the trp charts someone posted and she wants to cash in on it..ekta thrives on controversy and shweta, thy name's controversy, churn it all up and make a mountain out of a molehill! stupid gossip articles!

Hope that Ronit's injury heals up fast!

Btw, thakshila, shweta sure was colorful then .. err I mean her face wasn't colored up then?Motormouth airhead had a grand queeny time it seems 😆

She danced without rehearshals? cool, you gotta show us the caps as you promised.

Our Ppl r mad of Prerna. simply love her. lover her. love her. She watched the Pakistan Sri Lanka cricket match too.
I missed that live scenes. Yes Our President's wife was the chief guest. And our former cricket captain .Arjuna.
