After the ONS track, I had stopped initiating any threads and was just writing in Misti's thread everyday. During the last days of CN family track, I had lost interest in that as well. But, since there are only 2-3 episodes left and the production house is bent on making sure that they ruin even these last few episodes, so I decided to post my thoughts until the end of the show. So, here goes.
1. First of all, let me congratulate myself. I had written a parody ending in Misti's thread couple of days ago where Vivek was going to be cured. Well, it happened in an instant. Radhika and her lookalike are both similar in one sense. They bring miracles and do impossible wherever they go. So, all the cures and Mrinalin's taunts were defeated by Imarti's rampuri.
2. Dadi and Vaishali's flip flop continues. So, they wanted Imarti as a DIL as soon as they realized that she is a Brahmin and a twin of Radhika. So, naturally they assumed her to be self-sacrificing like Radhika because bloodlines don't lie. Since it didn't happen, Imarti's rishta was taken back (never mind that Imarti should have a say in it too). Since Imarti cured Vivek accidently, now suddenly everyone wants her back as DIL. Again, noone is bothering to ask her and feels that she has no reason for saying no. How about that she is years youngers than Vivek, has never been married, is vibrant and unconventional or may be in love with someone else? They did show that if Imarti agrees, but then go ahead with planning the engagement etc. with even Radhika assuming that Imarti would be so grateful for this position? Why is that? Is it because Imarti is poor and illiterate (not sure about that part) and should be grateful to be married to a rich guy from a cultured family? Only Vivek was a voice of reason, but he was silenced by our very own beloved Dev (my lament again: Dev is reduced to this now?? Oh those golden days when Dev used to be a rebel and a voice of reason).
3. Amma continues her favorite dialogue with Devki having the same expressions and Radhika listening to Amma with utmost respect. So, they are not content with destroying Dev's character. They had to regress Radhika too at the end. The girl who held Amma's hand before her Malaysia trip and told her that she doesn't need to tell how much she cared for Vishaka especially to a woman who tried to burn Vishaka just to spite Radhika. So, now even though she is a Mrs. RP who is well respected within her family and the society and is going to be a mother, she listens to all this. Isn't a mother supposed to protect her child and only listen to good things so that her child gets all good sanskars. So, why is she listening to Amma's rants while being pregnant?
4. Rest were all useless. Imarti was the only fresh part especially her interaction with Vivek. She was true to Imarti character in that interaction and also her interaction at the end with Radhika was refreshing. Rubina is fun to watch as Imarti. Much more interesting than this suddenly one dimensional Radhika.
Finally, my repetition. Why can't they give Dev some meaningful dialogues at least in the last two or three episodes. Where is that Dev who asked Amma to stay in her limits as PF's guest otherwise she would be asked to leave their house? This was when they had started destroying the show (March of this year). At these, the dialogues were better than what he is being given in the last week. Why have they reduced both Dev and Radhika to these one-dimensinal characters at the end?
So, the channel and the production house have been successful because I am now happy that the show is ending and I don't want it to extend.
