I agree tha you need to know the full picture before commenting which is why I quoted an example but hey the topic was not intended to be about a certain person but more generic abt our hypocrisy. Though I agree with you, you nee to wait and watch before peole start cursing AR... For all you know what they have shown (i've no clue cos I haven't watched it) could well be someone's imagination!

Adultery/Cheating are complete no-no and specially in a married relationship. I am not a die-hard romantic [or call me conservative if you will]so no I don't value romantic liaisons as much as I respect the sacred bond of a marriage :) [not the court ceremony but the religious ceremony that binds two adults as mates😃]

I agree, adultery is a complete no but for a marriage to work the two partners need to be compatible, need to love and respect each other and want to be together.

Otherwise you end up living out an obligation that makes no one happy. The only circumstance that warrants a compromise is when you have kids. Cos they didn't deserve to be the victims of your uncertainties and unwillingness to make up your mind and if you've chosen to have them, you owe them a secure and loving environment.

I am no one to judge at this point how wrong or right adultery is because I am dealing with actor - cum - God, but oh forrealz, don't justify the distasteful act at your own convenience. Adultery is just as murder for me....you murder trust, you murder the identity of the person you cheat, you murder your own conscience. But hey that's just me.

I think a lot has been said and I mostly agree with the double standards stance but I loathe how a woman's dignity on the forum has completely been tarnished. I am not too sure if you all remember a woman named Shraddha Niggam, but she was the Goddess of this forum till she pleasured a certain man, but the next minute she becomes a whore because she dared to speak up for her rights as a human being. Women are guillotined while the man walks away free handed even after sexing up 10 other women up at his own convenience. I applaud the forum.

People on here need to re-visit Urban Dictionary to check up on the definition of 'whore'..that's all Imma say.

I am not even a feminist, yet I am disgusted.

I do not just agree with your post, I also totally loved that you had thought about this and written this. These are all one dimensional flawed characters, and yet we change our perspective depending on who we are thinking about. Thanks!

I do agree at things you mentioned that happens here in india but there are things that happen worlwide too that are just as terrible..which we may or may not know. we should target the issues for what they are ........not the people who do them...because people of all colors and race have variations of issues like these...maybe even worse.

I do not support adultry...nothing justifies it...and any justification given is only for the person who commits it feel better ..........does not take away from the blunder that was done and who it was done to.

thanks for commenting. I'm not denying that other people do have double standards or are not sanctimonious byt we do tend to be holier-than-thou... And we have eons of history and culture to back us ;-)/ the latter being a good thing of course!

Am not defending adultry, am just fussed abt double speak.. And we always find it easier to target the woman.. The voices of condemnation may exist even when a man comits adultry but never as strong as when its a woman. I've seen excuses when a man strays esp when they dont have children that the woman cant give him what he wants, etc. You have a socially accepted practice of surrogacy that had legitamcy! But I'm digressing - seem to do it very often ;-)

My concern is the hyprocrisy rather than a condoning of adultry. For me it has nothing to do with AR/SR/ArSh/KSG et all just the basic principle of havng double standards.

In any case, just saw the precap, not sure why it incited such a violent response. Irritation yes, but abuse, dont know..No one knows where its headed, who does what and what happens.. Finally what happens is just a show but what we say / do and how we react is a reflection of how we think... And that bothers me....
