Let's all admit it: everyone has selfish reasons. Its quite strange to visit this forum everyday and see different arguments from each fan group, such as this:
AR: The show defines the couple, and they should be brought back together. They are humans and have feelings, and the CVs should not destroy true love this way.
SR: Its disgusting to show an extra marital affair. Its the wrong message to the youth if AR ever unite, SR are married and should be together.
AS: We got KaSh together after so long, Armaan deserves his side of happiness too. The CVs should not tell the youth that no one moves on and there are no second chances, its just terribly wrong.
Reading between the lines of each argument: I love my couple and want them to be shown together. If a miracle happened [and it will neverđ] and KSG portrayed Sid, I would love to see the fan switch of arguments. If Karan Wahi portrayed Armaan, every argument is bound to change. Why do you love AR? Why do you love SR? Why do you love AS? Its because of the characters who define them. As AR fans, yes, three Riddhimas were shown, but Armaan was the same. I guess TRPs have proved KSG's importance to DMG, but that does not mean KW, JW, and SA are any less. Without any offense, and I am only using this as an analogy, there is a show on Star Plus called "Chand Chupa Badal Mein." I, shamelessly will admit, that I do not watch the show because the leads are, well, not my choice. Many fans of Sangini would like to watch Pihu and Rudra come together, even before the show aired, because they love Aditi and Iqbal. Characters are created by the actors. Actors are created by the show. And the show is created by the CVs. Every argument falls limp to that one fact: it is fiction. The TRPs do not run on what is right, wrong, true, moralistic, etc. but on what the viewers want. I think it's difficult to explain what the viewers want, even though polls do try.
My basic point of this rant? Let's not disguise personal choices under so many argumentsđ It wastes time and space for everyone and insults the actors we all like to stand up for. They work hard to give us what we watch, even if its not always something we likeđł
