😊 Madonna used to be fixated on Indian clothing and this was during 1998. She was very devoted at this time, but rumors flew that she went to a Indian show (with stars like Shahrukh, Juhi Chawla, etc.) and she was not impressed because it was to Western. So, she stopped wearing Indian clothes and embracing the culture. But, it is pretty intriguing to see Madonna in these clothes! Pretty cool! The most successful female artist in the history of the world wearing a sari!

looking weird, guess some one told her to wrap the saree but didn't teach her to handle it gracefully

she looks as awful as can be expected. always thought sarees made the wearer look beautiful...guess i was wrong!

Lord, what has she done to the sari? It looks terrible and so does she, may I add! Never been a fan of Madonna...won't become one after seeing this picture either!!

I wish she'd draped it properly !!

It looks very bad/shabby !!

The beauty of a saree is in the draping style and how the woman carries it off....I can see none😕 !!

She does look bad with the sari, but at least she is covered up more than some bollywood actress. Some bollywood actress show too much when wearing a sari it does not look classy at all when they do that.

Oh come on guys. Seriously? Am I the only one who sees this as a mark of respect and admiration for the Indian culture? Yeah, she has not worn the sari correctly and doesn't look very elegant but so what? She's not Indian! Of course she doesn't know how to carry a sari off.

We bash people who put Indian culture down but I can't believe we're now bashing people for trying to adapt a certain aspect of Indian culture into their lives. She even did a Namaste. How many Indian actresses do we see doing that in front of the camera?
