Ekta to become a script writer

Ekta Kapoor's forthcoming TV serial, Pyar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani, somehow had its writers at a loss for words, or at least ones Ekta would have appreciated under normal circumstances.

Completely dissatisfied with how the script had turned out, Ekta fired 28 of her writers who had worked on this show so far. She then took it upon herself to write the script.

A source close to the serial says, "None of the writers Ekta appointed on this show understood the brief she had given them. Pyar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani is a very dark, love story."

Since the theme of the serial is very different from Ekta's earlier shows, it was not understood by most of her writers.

"Ekta had no choice but to pen the script herself. She has always been involved with her projects but this time she is really stretching herself," added the source. Ekta remained unavailable for comment but we know what she's busy doing.

Dont degrade her.. Dont forget that she is the brain behind most of the best shows on Indian television😉😆

God have mercy on the poor viewers.....

But there is a point.....her writers are so used to the same old stuff, they can't handle anything even slightly different, look at Bandini for instance, look how it started and what it turned to.....I wish she would fire Bandini writers as well, only don't want her to write the script herself because don't think she will do much better either, but employ someone talented with fresh ideas.....but I guess it's too late for Bandini now, it's probably getting close to wrapping up, don't think anyone is interested in putting the effort to hire new writers.

hey ekta doesnt watch her shows
she watches all the foreign shows so she may have some foreign ideas in her mind for pyaar ki yeh kahaani

Lol is this the one based on Twilight? No wonder the writers couldn't get it. Vampires live in the dark and not bloody shine!

I wonder what's wrong with people aping something like Twilight? We've hit a new low.

In my opinion,Bandini started going downhill from the point where HitMe track started.It was too much for most people to accept an incestuous relationship. When Khemi married Arjan we sighed a sigh of relief but a little too soon.It was obvious that the CVs could not get this mausi bhanja relationship from their twisted minds and had to proof that Arjan was after all DM's son. Maulik's character had too much potential.He could have been shown turning from negative to positive. Can't say enough about Kanji and what could have been achieved if they continued that track.But alas the CVs always took the wrong turn and Bandini ended up in the pits.

have to agree to that.......she is the one who braught a revolution in TV industry...........KZK ..KASAM SE........N YES KSBKBT....whisch scored the TRP of 15 yr.......but the spark is now missing she needs to put more effort in creative field!!!!😉😉

i agreed to u uma di ya she gives such best show to industry... who was create that spark & magic that till now no other shows can create it... 😆

& arshi u r right... now her spark is missing but i will more prefer to say that she is neglecting sometime her some show & let it them to be worst as at a same time her other show is on no 1 on TV....

Thanks for sharing the article.

Well I say good for her cause I don't think TV serials can get any worst then they are at this point. If you think about it with all the shows out which pretend to be different from the ekta forumla how many can you say are true? I could count maybe three. So why should Ekta hire writers whose brains are at a dead end when comes's to writing script for her cause it would just be the same old formula put in new bottle. Ekta set a record stage that alot of people are trying to break or follow with new actors, that leave much to be desire when it comes to their acting skills.
