Ayub Khan- Eid is an auspicious occasion because this was the time when the Koran was completed. I have managed to keep rozas till date. I am planning a trip with my family to Lonavla this Eid. As a kid I remember we used to have a get-together at our Pali Hill bungalow. The main idea for us kids was collecting Eidi. People would come to meet, it was like a congregation at our place. Then I remember biryani, sevaiyaan and all the other festive items that were prepared during Eid. Eidi would be our priority however I never got to spend it since my mother would collect it and deposit in the bank.
