Hey guys.. as the topic suggests - this is a Pro-taposh post. So I guess if you have itni si bhi patience to read about him, I will try to explain why I like his character and why he is not deserving of the hatred there is for him...
Taposh is a strong character. We all know that for a fact. He takes his own decisions and never frets of what the world may think of his actions and their reactions to it. Years ago, he took the step of going against The Shekhar Ganguly - who happens to be his chacha, and his father's best friend - just for the sake of a lot of people who deserve justice. No, I am not commending his actions. To be honest, I am not into samaaj seva at all, and I dont think I would personally care about others when I have a whole life ahead of me. But that is what makes tapposh the strong character he was in the past, and the stronger character he is today.
When he found out that Taani and Onu were married off at such a young age, many complained he wasnt fair to Anurag. He wasnt! I admit whole heartedly, but had you been in that position, where he was standing, watching your sister get married off when she was not even legally allowed to, how would you react? Will you scream at your sister, and ask her why she did it? Will you blame her for what happened to her? No you wont - she is your sister after all. You blame your parents - but to what extend. You have to respect what they chose for their daughter. So for Taposh, he had no other choice but to just hope Anurag was perfect for his baby sister. And so he did- he made sure Anurag wasnt so Motu, and maybe in the way he was rude. Maybe he was a little ill mannered, but does that change the love he has for Taani? No it doesnt. It was out of love that he did this, and if you blame him, you never wil understand the love of a bigger sibling to his smaller sister.
When he was rude to her, and asked her why she was hanging out with an unknown guy when she is new to the city, he was not ruling her around - it was the love of a concerened brother who wanted his sister to be safe from everything evil and everything bad. He is protective of her, and why not? She lost her father at such a tender age, and he was all she had that was close to a father. He gave her the love and support when she was down, he gave her lectures on how she shoudl be with others, he screamed at her when he thought she did something wrong. Isnt that what a father does? So why is he at fault when all he wants is the best for his sister.
And then some ask why he is so rude to anurag? Why should he not be? Because he is not at fault right? Because it is not his fault his father sent him away. It is not his fault that Shekhar thinks bad of his relationship with Taani even when they were kids, and it is not his fault that Taani herself wants to be with him. Yes all these points are right, but how about for a second, just put yourself in his shoes. Would you be happy seeing your sister try to hold on to something that you know will never last for ever? Something that you know will break her heart, and leave her torn into pieces? Something that even if you want so much to be true - will never actually come to life. What would you do if you know your sister has a dream she lives, sleeps, eats, drinks, talks and walks with - and knowing that the dream has no destiny? Will you still not save her? Will you still not try to keep her away from the one person who has the power to break her till no bounds.
Taposh knows Anurag will go back. He also knows Anurag doesnt think of Taani as his wife, unlike his sister who thinks of him as her husband. Yes, he shouldnt have the right to be so rude to Anurag, but what choice has he got? What choice has destiny left for him? As for him beign rude to Taani - he doesnt beleive he has any other way to convince her - anurag is not rigth for you. So he screams at her - dont we all lose temper? Dont we all take our anger out - it is out of love that he does what he does, and there is a need to understand where he is comign from. he deserves the thought, because he is the character that not only is strong enough for himself, but also for others - for his loved ones.
He is ready to go against the world for what he think is right. He is ready to fight against anything to keep his mother happy. And he is ready to take in annything to ensure Taani's happy life. Isnt he the brother any sister would love to have? Yes, he is rude. Yes, he is mean, he is not understanding, and he is straight forward which may kill your heart. But he is true to himself, and the love he has for others.
Everyone has a way of expressing what they feel. Just because one does not do it in a flowery or sweet way, doesnt mean they are wrong. Everyone has a way of handling things, just because one doesnt agree with the way, doesnt mean the way is wrong. And finally, everyone has a different way of loving, just because one cannot see the love, doesnt mean it doesnt exists.
Taani sees it, and for a fact - I do too!
Taposh may not be posh in his actions, but the love is evident - that is quite the bottom line! 😆
P.S. dont even ask where the taposh not being posh came from... it was a joke.. and thought, why not include it? 🤣
P.S.S. hope you guys had an awesome long weekend, or weekend. Mine - dunno when it came, and where it went.. 🤔 I was kinda hoping it comes, although i know it is back to torture tomorow! *sighs* Good luck to all those starting classes tomorow. It will be a pain for sure for many! *tired sigh*
