Hey dear sayali ,Can I call you that? No one's blaming Natasha ..have seen her character as positive one ..so it was surprising how she could not understand shaan's mood at that point of time..For me it was a person holding to last thread of hope in a relationship which she knows deep down is slipping by fast or gone and ingoring the feeling that something is not right.
As for Tashu's reaction just my observations on her way of reacting to situations so that you understand my POV .
She is nice ,sensible ,independent but untouched by troubles of life..For her the only problems revolved around Shan's irresponsible behavior...It was easy till here..Her test started when she faced a situation (Shan and Khanak's shadi) which was thrown by fate ..her dad openly goining against Shaan.. the chinks in the armour became visible..
It was her choice not to listen to her dad's advice ..Few times she even promised him to do what he wanted but did not keep her promises ..Not saying its right or wrong but it was her own choice.
Shan was real uncomfortable and trying to explain the night after Kuch Khas hai sequence.she could have listened and let Shaan come out in clear..talk it out....She knew Khanak/Shan were alone at house and was insecured right..their first tiff in troubled times..But her way of dealing with it was ok lets push this under the mat and forget it..She was hurt when it came out from someone else's mouth...Forgiving and blind trust can not be the only way to deal with a situation..sometimes confronting helps..my views solely.
That nice and fair part wanted her and Shan to be frens till divorce thing is done...But when actually faced with that situation she struggled keeping her resolution ..Same goes for listening to Hetal who is an outsider..she herself pointed that to Boo later remember ..she is fighting that inner battle to remain fair...
It was her who said to Khanak the decision about forgiving Shan was hers. Natasha is a sensible girl...but not always is able to put her own views into practice ..She just somewhat falls weak in facing adversities ...new area for her..but its ok..she is all but human not white nor black just a shade of grey.
For her when the troubles come from known source..there is always a formula to solve it (Problem:Irresponsible Shan ,Solution: forgive him) ..But there is no formula when you face unexpected situations -Facing a temporary wedding of the one u loved ,two of your loved ones - her dad going against Shan ,Face that ur fiancee respects and is friend with another lady ,Strangers giving you advice how to lead your life etc etc...This is where her real test was in reacting to situations ,making choices for herself and she made her own.
Just a personal view when people start taking us for granted or doormat..some responsibility lies with us for allowing them to do so..If I let people "walk all over me" ,then they would ..Its for me to face life chin up.. :) Hope Tashu is shown to move on with her life in a level headed manner rather than viewers being made to feel pity for her...
