Shahrukh gets no distribution territory f

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment has turned down the rumors about Shah Rukh Khan asking for distribution territory for Don. He says that Shah Rukh never asked for it, nor does Excel have any related plans. Excel Entertainment, jointly owned by Ritesh and Farhan Akhtar, has been known for producing films like Dil Chahta Hai and Lakshya. Don, which is the remake of the 70's hit of Amitabh Bachchan has been in news since the project started. It is one movie that has been attracting the attention since the film stars superstar SRK who will play Amitabh Bachchan's character.

Incidentally Aamir Khan had acquired the overseas rights for Dil Chahta Hai. But after that Excel Films stopped giving rights to actors since such policies didn't fit in well with the production house's marketing strategy.
