I think it just was more symbolic that her life has come full circle and she has to choose to move on....but i liked your choice number 1....

from the promo it seems that geet is deciding to let go of her past and accept maan's love in her life...i guess she thinks she deserves hapiness in her life which is very true....only maan can give her love and respect that she needs....i think she is therefore deciding to tell everything to maan...
as for the picture...that i cant guess whether she will know that dev is maan's brother before or after telling maan everything....

well now watching todays episode geet is now kind of ready to accept maan's love without any hesitation and guilt but the way she is so confident in promo about kyun main apni atit ki parchayi apne aj par padne du and on the other hand there is her atit with her ajj on the wall maan and dev's picture and her holding ring with so confidence don't know what does that mean does it mean when she will be fully ready to accept maan's proposal she will know they are brothers and she will stop herself or after knowing the truth of brothers also she won't let that affect in her relation with maan so confusing hope cvs potray it in good track for maangeet

Everyone thinks that the the truth will devastate Maan...but I think the truth of MAAN and DEV being brothers will devastate GEET even more!!
