Since i have been a regular viewer of the show, i must admit, that the transition of the characters from childhood to adulthood has been real and naturally shown...
The one character that has stood out, obviously is the lead ... Anurag ... hats off to Harsha Chopra for pulling off Ali(LRL), Prem, and now Anurag with the same ease and elan!!
Coming back to the topic, and its title.. i really love the way, the character of Anurag has shaped up.. from a young innocent sweet little boy who knew only of love, friendship, being nice and polite... to a confident, cold, slightly arrogant man, who has obviously been hurt and let down by his idol.. this own father ...!!
I now see why they decided to show different phases of these characters .. while the young Anurag, didnt have the power to question anything that went wrong around him... because he was too scared off his father, this Anurag is exactly the opposite... he doesnt care ...
the motu we knew, was a cry baby .. obviously owing to the fact that he was a mumma's boy who got everything he wanted .. but knew never to misuse it.. this man we see now, knows how to hide tears, his pain, his anger ...!! his coldness and aloofness doesnt make you hate him ... it makes u feel sorry for him ... cos behind all this, he is still the soft hearted boy trying hard to overcome and hide all thats inside him...
he has learnt lessons in life the hard way .. paid a price for mistakes he had never made .. during the years when you get to learn the ropes of what the world is all like... he is blamed and punished...
a line he uttered really touched me...

"pehle dard hota tha ... baad main, uss dard ki aadat ho gayi "

these lines will fore sure hold greater prominence in their relationship...

another thing, that i noticed about Anurag like most other also would have is, how his feelings for tani have dried up ... he loves her inside .. but over the years has learnt to curb his feelings so hard, that, he now doesnt know how it feels like.. and tani for sure, will let those feeling come out ... no matter how he is with anyone ... with tani he is still the same anurag ... his relationship with nupur also perhaps is a mechanical one... like everything around him right now ...!!
Anurag ganguly is an interesting character to study .. and i would love to see how he falls in love with Tani all over again ... cos all that he has locked inside him .... will only come out .. when tani has the keys in her hands ...!!! and no one else ...!!

i agree with you.

Harshad has done the great job giving life to Aunrag character.

Each and every changes in anurag's life has been shown very clearly.

His fomral behviour with all the members of the family and friends shows that he totally changed from his earlier stage.

Its quiet natural. Every human being has this habit. when we grow as adults we won't like things that we liked as kids.

Anurag character is also like that. Everything changed but his towards Tani remains the same. Eventhough situations he faced as kid and their seperation from his love dried his heart, he has feelings only for Tani.

Eventhough he is doing everything for her in friendly manner, he needs time to find out his old love for her.

Anurag is a tough man now. with ambitions, challenge and love. as the stroy unfolds let see how the time and people around him changes his love life.

yes the transition was the much needed one...

from mumma's boy to a loner...

from the kid who used to whine for small things to a man who suppresses his sadness and try to appear cold...

and the lone years have frozen anurag from within....cudos to harshad..i know he could emote sadness and passion with his eyes....but coldness ,aloofness and bitterness....that was an amazing thing to watch...

and even around Taani he seems to be guarded...like he is not opening up about his life in US...

and his feelings for Taani too seems to be frozen with time...he considers her as his best friend or close friend and nothing more...the way he interacts with her is all the more casual...

wonder what is going to thaw him...

Guys, honestly speaking. Whenever such topics are made I feel like running to HC, hug him and never leave him. He's such a sweetheart in making himself immersed in the character.
May god bless him and I wish him all the happiness in the world, though I'm not the one giving him the happiness... 😭 😆

yes ... one cant see the same feeling that tani shares for Onu, in Onu's eyes anymore ... but i guess thats what forms the crux of the story .. of how that happened ... am dying to watch that ...

And I must say Harshad has done a tremendous job in all his roles which make it different from the other!

I agree with you when you say that his and Nupur's relationship may possibly be a 'mechanical one', Nupur (if she loves Anu) then it shows that she is in love not with the true Anu as he has reaaly freezed out his feelings...which only beats for Tani, I think only Tani can truly bring out his feelings which he has blocked deep inside his heart!

(Did I make sense)

P.S. I love your Maneet Avi...the one with the gun...where is that from?

I absolutely agree.Anuraag is one such character tht's hard but fun to study...ummm,Chemistry ki tarah...(which is hard,but certainly not fun)....

His very first scenes with Tani....confused me lyk nythin'....seemed lyk he does not have any feelings for her,anymore.Like,he has stopped loving her....like,he has got all the more bored with her....but tht's certainly not true....He has got it all inside,and his feelings abt his dad,mom,sibling,Tani,and other frends are sooo mingled-up,tht he,himself is unable to decide wht love is like.He's one character one would dislike when he talks to his father,and would love when he's with mom,Tani and others;and you'll feel pity for him when you think he has been all alone since the past 8 years.It's a kinda different lead character.

And Harshad plays it with great ease.He's one of the best actors the Indian TV currently has.

haha! i think the makers also deserve a mention here .. cos they are the ones who have etched out the character so realistically that .. you feel like believing everything you see and feel for the character ... ofcourse HC is good !!😊😊

well u did make sense ... and the relationship between nupur and onu may not stand the test of time since, onu will change back to what he originally was eventually ... she will not be able tio handle it .. in a way, if they dont show her too negative i will feel bad for her ..

as for the avi... i saved it from someone else ... 😛chori ka maal hai ...😉
