star player - not working!!

hi

since past couple of days i am trying to watch the episodes i missed on star player. For some reason i am not able to play the video!! when i click on play it's a blank dark screen and the bottom left is says "Adversitement

main video will start in seconds"

but the video doesn't start nor does it appear to buffer. Before i could see the play / pause button but now the adversitement thing block it!!

I wonder if this is case with people outside of India cause i could never watch any videos of star player when i used visit star plus site as it says "only for people living in India"

However, i was able to watch them on IF but now nor more.

Can some1 help me in solving this issue!!

Just checked out , the videos from Star Tv are not working for me too !!

Just checked one of the video and it came fine for me. Can you please post the URL of the video link that is not working so that we can check and fix the same.

thanks Vajay for replying!

i checked in more than one video and more than one serial (Star plus pratigya, Star one - Geet and Dil mil gayye) - it is still giving me the same problem!!

I believe it has to do with people living outside India not having access. Cause i could not open any videos posted in star plus website which were on star player as it was only for people living in India!

Just asked a few people in the US and they confirmed that its working fine at their end.

As a troubleshooting measure I would suggest deleting cookies, temporary internet files and try again.

Will be reporting the same to StarTv.in people to check at their end too.

Vijay I tried checking the videos from Internet Explorer and Chrome and they are working fine , and then I deleted all temp. internet files , cookies and cache and restarted Firefox , but the videos are still not working for me in Firefox :(

i have different matter to tell you but i think all people posting here in india-forums.com will be agree on my this take.

as you said before that india-forums.com is not serving the virus but according to me if i am not wrong india-forums.com is the one who taken to deal with star player site to display favorite show videos from star network channel but to tell you to being frank here is the report off star player site from world's number 1 anti virus provider symantec corporation. which displays clearly that this site contains 7 virus and spreading to other site when that images are opened from other site.

please deal this matter as soon as possible to get star player's virus free video to india-forums.com.

Hi Hardik,

If you watch the link closely you will find that threat listed are not in the StarPlayer but it is in their Forum section of the site which is UGC (User Generated Content).

And the same provider gives India-Forums.com a "Safe" ranking.
