The warm and bright rays of the morning sun peeped into the decorated room of Maan Singh Khurana, the most famous business tycoon in Delhi. His beautiful wife was still asleep not knowing that one third of the day has already passed. As they got married in the previous day he decided to take today off, thinking that he could spend some special time with his wife. He placed her gift on the bed and looked at her pure face. The face that he always want to have within his sight. He caught the swelling on her lips, that reminded him of his behaviour last night.
He shouldn't have put his needs before her. He should with hold all his emotions. He needs her as badly as the fire needs fuel to be alive, and she isn't just a single being. She has her own child in her tummy, for which she had almost risked her life. He should protect it just for her, to make her happy. He can always wait until everything is fine, or else he might hurt her baby and herself.

Geet opened her eyes slowly and stretched her hands with a loud yawn. She was surprised to see herself lying on Maan's bed with her blouse unhooked. She tried to recall what happened last night and hated the way Maan seperated her from him. He knows that she needs him, but why did he behave so rude, when they were halfway through? She became more frustrated at the thought and turned her head to see any sign of him there. She kept the blanket aside and saw a white rose on the other side of the bed. She took it and remembered the last time he gave her the same coloured rose with a note. She became nervous thinking that he might be gone this time too, like the previous time. She got up quickly and ran towards the door.

She held the door handle and without any effort it opened and there stood the man of her life, holding a cup of tea for her. 'good morning Geet, I thought not to wake you up, as you were very tired last night' he moved in as he greeted her 'here is morning tea for you, with five cubes of sugar.' Five cubes of sugar? Is he mad or something? How can she drink it? She took the cup from him and closed her eyes tight as she had a sip of it. She wa wrong, to think that he was mad to add five cubes of sugar into her tea. It tasted so sweet and it was one of the best morning tea that she ever had. 'aren't you going to office today?' she wanted to know his plan for the day. 'no, I'm taking a day off' came his answer, short but complete. He requested her to take shower and join with him at breakfast as soon as possible, before leaving.

Geet dressed in a green sari and let her hair open,putting a few bangles on her hands as she is a newly wedded wife. She kept the white rose on the dressing table and winked at her image reflected from the mirror. She came out of the room without seeing Chandu who was mopping the floor. Chandu heard her steps and yelled out 'Ma'am, ma'am please watch out!..Ma'am..ma'am..please stop' 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!' Geet's voice came out so loud that Daadi ran out of her room to see what had happened. Daadi saw her lying on the last step of the stairs and a pool of blood surrounded by her. As Daadi cried out for help, Maan came running out of the kitchen and saw Geet lying there, unconcious.

He didn't wast a single second, lifted her into his arms and ran towards his car, asking Daadi to follow him. He drove the car so fast that he narrowly escaped from some of the vehicles. He was so helpless when they reached the hospital and the doctors immediately attended her, knowing that she is his wife. He kept on walking up and down the corridor, looking at the right light at the emergency treatment room, nervously. Daadi patted his arm and trying to ease his pain for which he became more sad. It took nearly two hours when Dr.Sujit came out from the room to explain Geet's condition to him. 'She needs blood transfusion as soon as possible as she has lost too
much of blood, and we have to monitor her at least for twenty four hours' Maan felt that the earth under his feet was washed away by an evil storm, his vision blurred.

Nice update...but why did u refer to the baby as Geet's baby...didnt Maan consider it as his...???? And abt the baby being alive or no..I still cant make my mind...may be I want it to be born...yes..even after this accident...but Maan has to accept it fully...!!!!
