The wedding actually happens, but Rama acts weird after !!!!!
Ila furiously goes inside shouting 'kalyanatha niruthunga'. She confronts Ganga and asks her how she can put her father back in jail after he was released on bail. Ganga explained that he was coming with aruval to kill Ayya etc. Everybody is shocked. Ilavanji keeps screaming and finally Ayya says that it is her 'vayitheruchal' that is making her stop the wedding.
Ila admits it is true and pleads with Ayya not to allow the wedding when her father was not there. Ayya asks Ganga whether what Ila said was true regarding Kula's rearrest. Ganga says yes, that she had a duty to protect her father and that is why she had to give order to rearrest him. Ayya tells Ila that Ganga has done a good job of preventing Kula's entry to the wedding when he had such an evil motive of killing him. He asks Ila, is it okay if I die? Ila is shocked and says no, of course not.
Then she tries to pull JC from the 'mana medai' asking him to get up. Her mother comes and slaps her properly. Ayya asks the priest to speed up and to everybody's relief JC ties the thali around Rama. (I half expected Valli to come at this juncture, but she didn't turn up. )
But Rama starts acting funny now - she wants to see Kula mama in jail for asirvadam. Everybody protests, but she is firm. So Ayya sends the couple along.
Valli comes with her dad who sees the thali around Rama and is shocked. Valli is happy and tells her dad she wanted to see this moment. She says just like her father acted like he was committing suicide, she also acted as if she would do as her father said. Her father is angry, but cannot do anything.
Ila is fuming alone in a corner and screams at Mangai who comes near her. She polambifies - why my dad and I are always losing? Why is Ganga always winning? Never mind - one day we will win - 'kaththu' will come our way also one day.
Vadivu comes and taunts her with sweets now that Rama and JC are married and Rama is her anni now (Don't know why she taunts her when she knows that Ila is devastated - I felt that it was insensitive of her) Ila screams and tells her that Rama is not her anni. Vadivu says that from now on, her mother's house will run on what Rama says and she (Ila) is nothing now. Ila gets mad and says that it will not happen. She curses Rama and says that she will not let Rama live in peace and will be 'vazhavetti' etc. (You can fill the gaps - I am sure - the same dialogues again and again! 😡)
Meanwhile, the couple comes back from jail. JC says that his father 'thitti anupchitaru'. Ayya says it was expected, but atleast they tried. Rama really acts weird now - she says she wants her Kula mama and will enter her husband's house only after getting asirvatham from Kula. Otherwise how will she live in peace in her married life? Saying this, she goes away crying. ðŸ˜
