I think its important to realize that this show is fictional. We have these amazing characters that seem larger than life, yet they don't exist. I know it is difficult not to think about Maan...because he truly is an amazing guy. Yet, he doesn't exist...Gurmeet is real but that doesn't mean that he is anything like Maan.
The best thing about a story is that it allows the writer to portray the 'perfect' characters: the perfect hero, the perfect heroine & the perfect villains. Yet, in real life...very few people can reach to the level of love and self-sacrifice that we may see from a character like Maan. Very few people reach to the level of passion that is portrayed here. Yet, we all want that...and that is why we spin stories. So that if we can't have it in real life...at least we can create characters that allow us to experience those passionate moments through the characters.
BUT at the end of the day...it is still a fake story. When something that is fictional starts impacting your real life...that is a problem. You must first accept that MAAN does not exist...and realize that you need to only watch this show for the story and be able to live your life outside of it, which is real and does exist. Don't block the love of real people in your life because it is not up to par with what you see in Maan. It may never be up to what Maan feels for Geet but that doesn't make his love for her any special than the love of the ones who are in your life. You need to distinguish between the two...otherwise, you may end up hurting others around you.
Just a thought...hope you don't take offense🤔😊
