guilty for loving maan??!!

i dont know how to express this, but "geet" serial is so important in my life that i cant tell this to any friend or family..i feel so guilty thinking what im doing, i keep on thinking about maan...maan this maan that..maan and more maan. even whenever i see anyone i start comparing him with maan characters, this is very insane and still im helpless, my dreams and fantasies even involve maan, i feel that im cheating my close people. but i cant help it. when i close my eyes all i see is "maan".
i know im not cheating my loved ones but still i cant help feeling guilty. what shall i do? i cant stop watching geet.. and i equally feel so guilty for my thoughts. 😭, but i truly truly love "geet" and this is the only self pleasure and happiness which is my own..my very own. dont know what to do....can some one pls suggest me anything for this problem? i feel im more close to geet forum memebers rather than my own people, and i read each and every comment of all u members here......

Hey relax i know how you feel. Its not only you yaar. Believe me all of us here are going through the same phase. We can't work,nor study or do anything else. The show is an all time addict like a drug seriously. its a MAJOR MAJOR distraction. Just a few weeks ago i was invited to a party and all my friends were chattting as usual but i was just in the world of Maan and Maneet. Leaving the show is quite difficult as well. Dont worry relax its not only you whose facing it.

really, u were in "OUR WORLD" too? yea..i dont even wanna leave my home from 9pm till 10pm. my country geets is onair at this time. almost socially i keep myself away from all nowadays.. dont know..even facebook is not interesting anymore..there also i comment on geet page only, and here also with u all. strangely maan fantasies are turning me into something else....:(

hain seriouslyy its so addictive. Even i have stopped watching other shows and even if i watch im thinkin abt Maaneet all the time 😕 Even while working,sleeping ,eating everything you name it. Its freakin me out as well 😵

Yea Neetu ur right Maan is just a fictional character and doesnt exist in real life. Even if you start thinkin abt him just keep your self busy in some activity which will take your mind off hopefully

I think its important to realize that this show is fictional. We have these amazing characters that seem larger than life, yet they don't exist. The best thing about a story is that it allows the writer to portray the 'perfect' characters: the perfect hero, the perfect heroine & the perfect villains. Yet, in real life...very few people can reach to the level of love and self-sacrifice that we may see from a character like Maan. Very few people reach to the level of passion that is portrayed here. Yet, we all want that...and that is why we spin stories. So that if we can't have it in real life...at least we can create characters that allow us to experience those passionate moments through the characters.

BUT at the end of the day...it is still a fake story. When something that is fictional starts impacting your real life...that is a problem. You must first accept that MAAN does not exist...and realize that you need to only watch this show for the story and be able to live your life outside of it, which is real and does exist. Don't block the love of real people in your life because it is not up to par with what you see in Maan. It may never be up to what Maan feels for Geet but that doesn't make his love for her any special than the love of the ones who are in your life. You need to distinguish between the two...otherwise, you may end up hurting others around you.

@ NEETU, yea i truly understand.. he doesn't exist at all.. its all in our mind.. he is super in his acting but as u say... human craves for the best... the best qualities.. and even in love and passion..which maan potrays well for geet. some how...........still i feel guilty..im not cheating or betraying anyone by dreaming about maan...but i just cannot stop it. thank u..for the long comment. truly thanks.....
