I would have doubted this but after watching today's episode he is not in any mood to forgive or fulfill any of his promises to her at the moment he only wants a reaction and he will get one no matter what he has to do.

I also feel that he will put the mirchi in the daal and tell her if she's going to break her fast from his hands then it will be with this otherwise she can break it on her own. He probably expected that Prats wouldn't take him up on the offer, but she will.

I think this will continue until Prats finally admits her feelings to him.
