South singer Chinmayee, who was co-hosting Chhote Ustaad with Omi Vaidya, has been ousted from the show and replaced by Abhas Joshi, erstwhile contestant of Amul Voice Of India who later hosted the first season of Chhote Ustaad and Music Muqabla. Apparently, the producers weren't happy with her because she lacked fluency in Hindi, which led to a lot of retakes. Doesn't Omi also speak bad Hindi? Anyway, the show that has little kids from India and Pakistan competing for the title seems to be making news one way or the other.

I miss chinmayee..she was good..Am not too fond of Abhas..thank god Omi is still there.

Chinmayee was good, though stiff. Abhas is a natural singer and host . Omi is juvenile 😳

what in the world, chinmai is out, she wasnt that bad

i agree with musicmuse that Chinmayi was still, but she has more of a presence than this new guy. And chinmayi is a fantastic singer yet she is never shown singing. She did sing at Asha Bhosle's request and she sang a tamil song that Asha sang, but never got shown.

This new host I just find annoying, I can't believe they went to him because they needed a co-host. Surely there is a good host out there somewhere, someone like Aditya Narayan would be great.

Abhas is Annoying !! Don't like him!! I found him attitude holder in a negative sense !! when he is nothing in a sense of Singing on Professional level!! Gajji approached him because he was part of SVOI 1 and been hosted 2007 or 8 season !! Moreover, A less money taker!! So gajji saving money !!
